Hi Ian, I used to go up to Nairn to stay with my Granny & Granda for my summer holiday. That was in the late 50’s early 60’s. I lived in Fulham, London at the time and they were the best times of my childhood. Nice to see that a few of the shops that were open then, are still there. Pat Frasers for fishing tackle, Strachans for books and stationery and Burnett & Forbes for clothing . Lovely to see the place seems to have improved again, I went there about 10 years ago and it was looking a bit grim. Lovely video, keep up the good work.
Thank you for commenting, I also live down south, We have been going to Nairn for holidays since 2018. It's nice that you have fond memories of the place, we have alway found the people friendly and it's a good base for exploring the Highlands

Hi Ian, thank you for posting your video. I'm an American considering moving to Northern Scotland, and Nairn looks like a lovely place. I searched specifically for Nairn and your video comes up. It was like visiting :)
Hi Joshua, Have you been to Northern Scotland before ? Nairn is a lovely place, The people are friendly and it has a nice little town and an award winning beach and it's only a short drive or train ride to Inverness.
