Years of construction is finally bearing fruit , It's like Nairobi is expanding upwards and outwards The GTC will only brag being the tallest building in Kenya for a few months before the 88 Nairobi is complete , an engineering marvel which is two floors taller at 44. It's quite fascinating you were 11 minutes into the vedio having started from the city and still see skyscrapers mushrooming. Indeed the hard work of Kenyans is paying off. I loved the drive BTW

I think they should put signage"Cash Only "Card Only "Expresslane Only" at the toll stations to let drivers see which lane they should follow ahead of time to avoid confusion especially during rush hour
You stared not at Nairobi west BUT you started at Westlands ., its good you have reminded viewers it's Wetlands. I think designers could have added "OF " to avoid confusions, so West of Nairobi would be distinctive from Nairobi west .

exits from expressway signs need to be at very early stages. Telling drivers to exit get on this lane now, the signage needs to be at least 5 miles away from the exits and alerting drivers when to get on the exit lane. Otherwise you will have accidents with people trying to cut to the exit lane right before they get there. Signs should also be put in place before getting to the toll stations and speed limits put in place. We do not need expressway to be coined the "expressway of death" and people start using the older road and we are back to square one. Congestion.
It was in the plan but the negotiations fell through with Bechtel, an American company that was insisting on debt financing and Kenya was not interested in debt but a PPP model. I am sure it is just a matter time and it will happen.

This is a noble project.the road will save motorists huge amount of time and fuel which would have been wasted in traffic jam on the lower road which is heavily congested with vehicles.drivers who don't want to adhere to speed limit of 80K/h will be a big problem to the law abiding motorists.speed monitoring cameras should be installed to capture overspending drivers.thank you for the video Doll 😍

I think they can improve this road by putting signboards indicating all the exit points ahead(eg) Eastern Bypass Exit 200 m ahead, Haile Selassie Exit 200 m ahead........This is because I find it easy to miss all the exit points ahead.

Please send this message to every African politician, leader and people you will meet that, we Africans must demand AU passports issued by every African country to enable us and Africans in diaspora to travel all over Africa without visas, just like in the EU. African leaders must build trains and highways to connect the whole continent as this will boost easy travel, tourism, make available capital and labour, and facilitate trade and ensure food security. It can be done, and must be done if Africa is to develop and progress because without transportation and connectivity, there is no business and no transfer of knowledge and technology.
