I rarely have seen a japanese crowd showing their anger this much.

If there is one thing I learned from WK is that be it Japanese or English,NJPW has the best commentary team.I really liked the work of english team

I'm not as upset at other people at KENTA's tactics. Naito got to say 99% of his speech. He got to make this his moment. The only thing he was missing was the Pyro on the stage, but he's not Tanahashi so I don't know if wanted that anyway.

God this was amazing. I was out of my seat for KENTA’s attack! We’ve got to remember he is one of the most influential wrestlers ever- especially for the modern style of wrestling. This is huge.

Naito finally beat Okada and got his Tokyo Dome moment. I was legit tearing up through all of it and then KENTA ran in and ruined his moment, which I thought was a PERFECT ending. They give you the happy ending, then toss a curveball with KENTA stealing the shine and getting NUCLEAR HEAT. Far different and more compelling than a conventional happy ending. Now, we all want to see Naito gets his hands on KENTA. Well done, NJPW.

Man that was a perfect set up for the next rivalry. Kenta is an awesome heel. Great to see Naito walk out with 2 belts.

Watching this in 2022. This was Naito's long awaited crowning moment. At last he finally got his much deserved redemption & also made history in the process by becoming the first ever NJPW star to simultaneously hold The IWGP World HW Championship & The IWGP Intercontinental Championship and he did it all at NJPW's biggest event of the year at Wrestle Kingdom only for the artist formerly known as Hideo Itami to ruin Naito's big moment. Couldn't they have waited until their New Year's Day show right after Wrestle Kingdom to have Kenta ambush Naito?

I was there that night. Listening to the crowd turn from joy of Naito winning the belts, to shock and then anger towards Kenta for spoiling Naito's moment, it was amazing to be part of.

God those belts are beautiful.

I love how happy KENTA is for the hate. Bullet Club lost damn near everything this weekend. Of course they'd want to troll. And especially troll LIJ. Meanwhile, LIJ needed to bring someone out to support Naito. Plus, it puts more *sympathy* on Naito, which is part of why the fans love him. It's harder to be sympathetic to a man who has everything.

People hating on naito not getting his moment are wrong. Naito is a renegade character and him always chasing or being hunted is good storytelling. Hes not suppose to be like an okada who's character is more of a dominant champion

Looking back at this match I can't believe Naito was hit the stardust press on Okada even after the history of the stardust press he managed to hit it. Anybody getting a flashback at 8:54 to wrestle kingdom 8 when Naito was being carried to the back after his first loss to Okada Bushi was one of the ones who was helping Naito to the back fast forward to this years wrestle kingdom 14 Naito won the main event but still had to be carried to back and Bushi was there to help him just as he was all those years ago?

I was going for Okada on this one. He is the face of NJPW and will be the face again during this decade

Naito is selling his ass off; there are several current wrestlers who could learn from his performance.

Holy shit, I knew Naito was over but EVERYONE was SCREAMING his catchphrase. NJPW proves, this is how you do it right.

This was perfectly executed. I got most of my predictions right for the matches. But this was one thing I wasn’t expecting. The heat though! Kenta looks hungry. He’s fucking Kenta!

今さらコメントするのもあれだけどKENTAが来てよかったって素直に思ってる。 ２年前のメインで負けたあとのバクステのときは、中学３年の頃のドームのメインに立つっていう夢はあのとき叶った、次はレスラー内藤哲也の夢に向かっていくってことを言ってた。今回も似た状況じゃない？２年前に出来た「レスラー内藤哲也」の夢のドームでの勝利は達成した。次は「チャンピオン内藤哲也」としてドームでの大合唱っていう夢に向かって進んでいけたらいいと思う。

I got into NJPW right around the time AJ left, so I never really got to see the Bullet Club in its heyday, where Prince Devitt was running tyrant in the Jr. scene and Styles making waves in the Heavyweights. I really enjoyed the "Elite Club" era of 2016-18', even if it got a little to chummy for me towards the end. But BC going back to its more western style heel roots is gonna be great. While I'm absolutely livid with this, following Naito and learning about why this is so important to his character. I'm also happy that I am absolutely pissed lol, NJPW doing great work as usual.
