I’m so happy the mother was going to walk down the aisle with the ex-husband. I was so proud of her for stepping up like that. I do know from experience that is such a very hard thing to do so I just want to congratulate her. You go mama and congratulations to the two young people, it was a beautiful gorgeous wedding. I think you have a weird/distorted view of this. I do agree that it's very significant for the mother to have stepped up like that... But quite frankly I am disgusted by the daughter for expecting that of her mother in the first place. That is so unbelievably horrid of her. It is inappropriate and beyond immature to disregard the feelings of your own mother like that! I'd expect that behavior from a toddler who can't understand the complexities of relationships and how they fail, I absolutely do not expect such pathetic emotional immaturity from a woman old enough to marry !!!

The first couples groom mother Anne got on my nerve. She couldn't just shut up after the fact and let it be. The wedding was beautiful and the bride loved her dress. Anne well it wasn't my pic for the dress, and at the reception well it wasn't my vision. And crying because her theme didn't get pucked in the beginning was ridiculous.

That last bride and her mom were a piece of work! The husband is totally under lock and key with that one. It was awful to watch how his mother was spoken to and demeaned… especially how the bride reacted upon hearing her mom couldn’t make the rehearsal dinner and possibly miss the wedding day (which was totally put on for dramatic effect and to put the last minute work on the other mom) yet instead of feeling let down by her own mom she put all the pressure and stress onto her fiancés mother and acted like she was the one who had wronged her. I hope the husband has since found his backbone!

The mom with the Jackie O concept has no idea of Jackie other than maybe the pearls. But Chocolate is not Jackie O. And Jackie O was big with flowers! So this mother is trying to add value to her theme by using a famous name - which really doesn't have much related. He dress and motifs were not Jackie O poor Oleg Cassini but be rolling his eyes. And th other mother feathers and hay and sparkle? NOt very complementary or complimentary.
