Rudolph is the highest rated qb in the league over the last 2 weeks. 115rtg. Ave 285yds no ints, and a 70% completion percentage. Rudolph played really well his rookie year. He came back way too soon after his head injury and the 2nd time he came back, still a rook, he went 30-50 250yd 1td and a dj fumble cost them the game. He earned the starts. If they make playoffs, they may go far. Pending on Roberts and Minka. If they're back, pat Peterson can play beside him. Roberts and jack would make a respectable pair.

It looks like Rudolph really grew from the adversity of the 2019/20 season, and absorbed a lot from his mentor Ben. I see confidence, mental toughness and good judgment now. I was driving for a chunk of this game so I had to listen in the radio. Really surprising to here the 102.5 people all predict a Seattle victory. Like, we just saw the best Steelers qb performance in years, and he just had a whole nother week of reps.

Our team is so damn good when we just have solid QB and O-line play. We have the best defensive player in the league, the best RB duo, arguably the best kicker(at the moment) and arguably the best young WR. And while they aren’t using him much, we have one of the better tight ends as well.

I suspect our season ends next week, but regardless of how well, or poorly, Mason may play in that game, he deserves an immense amount of credit for what hes done. For his performance ON the field. For his demeanor OFF of it. For his ability to lead in both. I was never a Mason hater, no a supporter. I said I hadnt seen enough. Whether this is who he is or not, to come in as a 3rd string QB and take over as he has, and play so well, says a lot about him. And personally, I really, really, really appreciate Mason making sure I should never have to watch Mitch Turdbsicuit throw another pass in a Steelers uniform again!

If they wanted a real Veteran to show Pickett the ropes, they should have at least signed a backup with some talent. Rudy is making his mark now. Glad to see it

I truly feel that 3 or 4 of the best runs of the year were by Steeler running backs in this game. They each bullied their way to so many broken tackles. It was impressive.

Bush is the worst Steelers draft pick in the past 30+ years. The all-time worst is not picking Marino. Which is further amplified all these years later by picking Pickett in an attempt to atone for that very sin.

I’m super happy for Rudolph taking his opportunity and running with it. His first game was unbelievable and yesterday the offense kept stacking on a day when the defense wasn’t that great. I feel bad for Kenny. He had one full game without Canada and it was his best of the season, and now he’s stuck on the sideline. I love what Mason’s doing and people aren’t gonna like me saying this, but everybody is loving Mason for what he did yesterday when his performance was almost identical to Kenny’s against the Bengals and people complained about his lack of points scored because Diontae’s td didn’t count and Warren fumbled in the red zone

its bizarre to me the hate pickett gets when the kid was 7-2 in games he finished with canada as oc and then balls out with new playcaller before getting hurt. yes mason is playing good but lets not talk shit on pickett when he was doing well with the worst oc in the league. im as big of a Mason fan as they come as im from oklahoma but most of the plays the last 2 weeks are from players making huge plays that werent before pickett got hurt

I'm behind Rudolph as our QB. Last week and this week's game prove that he has the passion to be the Steelers QB. He got us over 30 points in a game since last season. Can't wait to see what this week's game against the Ravens brings with Rudolph holding the ball. Great video as always.

Some buzz lately that Kenny has had a really bad attitude about this whole thing. This past game they seemed to kinda hide behind him “not being cleared” even though he said he was fine. It will be very telling this week depending on whether he gets a helmet as the backup or not. If he’s healthy there’s no shot trubisky is the #2 barring an attitude problem or internal issue with Pickett.

Also with this being my first ever game and it being an away game I was shocked with how many Steelers fans there were. We came out today. We obv still lost in the scream off but I was impressed with the numbers

Mason has certainly earned his salary this year and then some! If the rumor is true about Pickett refusing to be Mason’s back up in week 17, he might be cut in the offseason even faster than Trubisky, who definitely needs released. Even if it’s not true, I don’t think just because the Steelers reached for a QB in the first round that Kenny “deserves” another season just to see if he’s any better. I think Rudolph has enough to be a competent starter in Pittsburgh. Then again, maybe he’s had enough of Pittsburgh.

I was happy, yet frustrated with this win. For all the reason in your video. Frustrated because we did go back to the d-n-d short passing with 3-4 splash plays downfield. We won by 7 points...won because Metcalf dropped the TD, and Nick Herbig, who only played 2 snaps on defense came up huge. My frustration came from, and you said it, it didn't have to be that close. We were 3 of 6 in Red Zone efficiency, where it could have, should have been 5 of 6. The 3 resulting in FGs, of the six 1st & 2nd down plays from within the 8 yd line, all six (6) were runs and it netted us 2 total yards. The throw-away pass by Mason you highlighted, look at the vanilla sit routes they run. Then, look who it is, Pickens, Robinson and Boykin. Not Pickens, Muth, Washington or DJ. Once again, as done all year long, Rush on 1st & 2nd down, zero play action even with the big body personnel who are a double threat of run blocking and big targets who sell a play action. This is the very essence of regular season Standard is the Standard and no postseason W's.
