You don't find seeing a little taste of what women have been going through since men found out they could rape their way to progeny amusing? Really? Did you find all those waitresses getting their butts swatted by disgusting truck drivers in television shows amusing? How about all the "put up with advances from the boss or you'll lose your job, Secretary" comedy plots that have been around since television began. Or the "casting couch" comedy, or the "hit it and quit it" comedy that's been convincing women that putting up with all that was just our lot in life for... well, since couches were invented, probably. So the "turn about is fair play" comedy bit wasn't funny? Oddly enough, I don't think it was meant to be "funny ha-ha"; I think it was meant to be the kind of comedy that makes people uncomfortable enough to rethink their own attitudes. Ergo why they used Peter Dinklage and the massively much larger, physically dominating Leslie Jones in the roles. MAYBE if some men were made uncomfortable by the imagery, they will be less likely to be pushy (or worse yet, physically aggressive) the next time they have an opportunity to sexually harass a woman. And MAYBE if some women were amused by the role reversal, the next time some guy does that to them, they'll stand up for themselves. Sometimes SNL does that sort of "get into your head by the back door" thing. They always have. So have entertainers since the first storytellers began to enlighten their tribes around the hearth fires. We often learn from laughter, but even more from discomfort. It's nice to know the tradition continues.

Q Leah I love this one, it's one if my favirites :) I don't know if we have a similar sense of humor since we both find this skit hilarious, but just in case we do, I laughed like crazy at almost the entire episode where Donald Glover was the host. 80's Music Video, Barbie...something (maybe Barbie's Instagram)? Uhg, I can't remember all of the titles, but if you look up SNL Donald Glover I'm sure it'll have them all. Laughter seems to help a lot with all kinds of stufd for me like with pain and ( Yasmin Grant - I totally agree) with my anxiety/depression. So if I can share some laughter, I'd love to!! :) There's also a really funny few sketches with Bill Hader that I think are called "Greg is Not an Alien" (If they aren't called that, they still come up when you search that on RU-vid). I think the Jon Hamm one is my favorite. It made me laugh literally out loud...while home alone lol. Ok, I should stop before I accidently write a whole essay on here lol. Idk how exactly things work on RU-vid, but if you can add/message people and you want to add/message me I'd love that. I don't know many other people who want/need my crazy amounts of TV/movie/stand up comedy/RU-vid channels/book recommendations, and I'm always looking for good recommendations myself :) Oh, also John Mulaney has great stand up (they're are 3 on Netflix, Top Part and New in Town are my favirites but Kid Gorgeous won an Emmy), and Kumail Nanjiani's stand up is freaking hilarious (Beta Male, I think it's on RU-vid, RU-vid Music and Google Music).
