In an exclusive interview with WION, the minister of international relations and cooperation of South Africa, Naledi Pandor hails India's contribution and engagement with the African continent, especially during Covid-19 pandemic by providing vaccines. She hoped more Indian pharmaceutical companies set up shop in South Africa and help them produce vaccines as well.

Most of foreigners are seeing the potential of africa just now while indians were dealing with africans since longest times there are many indians in kenya where some lived generations and have kenya passports many of those have never seen india too the point is indians are business driven and they know where the money and the potential is

The fact of the matter is that South Africa took the vaccine that was made in India, and in turn gave it to neighboring countries because India didn't guarantee the vaccine. SA favored the US brand {{Pfizer}, and now want India to open pharma companies in South Africa. At one time during apartheid there were many drug manufacturing companies in South Africa some of the best, all were driven out because of the ANC policy. It would appear India would be used as a cash cow for their benefit.

At a point in time, people made such myopic statements about China and that seems to be negated by the current state of affairs. Just like some "nations" considered The late Madiba a terrorist during the the struggle times. It is always wise to have a clear foresight of how the future is shaping up. You can tell by the tone of comments being made online from different parts of the continent and the world. People are getting tired of being taken for fools. I think you got your facts mixed up...u should really do some research on us south Africans... firstly I'm a south African indian 4th generation born here we love our indian culture and heritage as much as we do our south African part and the fact that you think south Africans don't like India is actually bizarre as one of our main cuisine is curry and indians,Pakistani and Bangladeshi all come to work here and live as well as we are very accepting so get your facts straight
