Close proximity. Town ships don't have access to other facilities like shopping centres. Even if they did, they will be located far whilst a spaza shop would be just at a street corner.

As black South Africans we should be having our own production and supply chain conveyer belts that involves warehouses and processing plants. When communities close these spaza shops there is no clear plan on who will supply the market that is there.

They save from R200 per month that can buy a van Toyota Hilux to buy stock that can distribute stock in different locations.
