i'm living in kdrama world for many years and most of the kdramas made me suffer from second lead syndrome.... but not this time.... i wanted to know why most of the people like the second lead..... so i tried to watch it..... the moment i started it, i don't get why they like the second lead so much to dalmi when he looked like he was forced to write the letters to dalmi by her grandma and even used another name...... in aspects, i like the second lead, but not for dalmi..... it gave me understanding that dosan is really for her because he was there by her side, he had a courage to confess his feelings to her, and he was being considerate to her by asking her to continue what she wanted to say or to do, while jipyeong had a chance to tell her right from the start when he followed her to where grandma was running a corn dog shop that he was the one who wrote the letters that dragged dosan's name.... he didn't even remember anything about her until she stated her name in start up relay lecture..... i don't just get it why they want han ji pyeong to be dalmi's endgame but as han ji pyeong himself, i can understand why his fans like him in some aspects... just saying.....

You said it perfectly. HJP only cared about Dalmi becoz of the grandma. Their feelings toward each other aren't really genuine and are wrapped up in lies. Donam's on the other hand fell for Dalmi becoz of who she is and continues to fall for her more the more he learns. M sure Dalmi will realize she her first love like most first loves was a fantasy and comforting bt far from where her true heart belongs.

True. I felt that too. When he said "I lik u" in his first letter, he dint evn mean it, nd wrote so inorder to make her feel good. But right frm th first letter she began to fall for him, thinking that he really liked her. All these years dal mi thought hjp actually loved her nd hence wrote th letters. But he dint then. Gradually he might hav fallen for her unknowingly, but evn then its true that suzy fell for him, thinking that he already liked her.

1000% - it’s so refreshing to see a male lead that sincerely falls head over heels for the girl without any of that hate first then love BS, he’s shy and reserved, is talented (genius) but humble, has his own flaws that we come to love, respects her as a person and a professional, and does his best to support her. Although I feel bad for han ji pyeong and I totally want her to know the truth. I hope she ends up with do san though. Besides the fact that he is not the one who wrote her those letters, he is such a good match for her. He genuinely likes her and is not afraid to admit it. He is smart but also humble, caring, shy... He breaks the stereotypes of most male lead where they are rich, has so much ego, with the hate to love relationship. But I hope han ji pyeong has a happy ending too.

I beg to disagree. Yes the script is already complete but they can always make changes along the way. There are some Kdrama writers who changed the script because of some unexpected reasons: second lead over shadowed the lead character (Queen Seon Deuk), mandatory military service ( Bad Guy) and lead character's personal issues (The Time - MBC). The writer can even write additional episodes if the drama is a hit like Emergency Couple of TVN. We are hoping for a twist but of course it depends on the writer. Let us just respect each other's point of view. Please do not blame people who will love the second lead. But you can always question the writer for making Han JiPyeong so lovable. Peace.

I seriously don't want this lie cycle to continue until 10 episodes or more. Seriously if this cheating is what this drama is based I'll quit it. I hate looking at cheating. Usually in the olden dramas cheating like this will be the main plot and so truth will be revealed at the end. But this drama has more for life, it's motivational and inspirational and with modern thoughts. So I badly don't want this to be like olden dramas In the teaser at the end of 4th episode they showed like she gets to know all truth in episode 5. I hope that really happens and this lie cycle ends. And it's better early than later. That's what I thought and the grandma told too. If you tell everything sooner, NJH will not be a fraud. Because he just fell into other's trap which he himself didn't begin. But if truth is not revealed and NJH tells more and more lie just to be with her because he loves her, she'll get badly heartbroken and would be hard to accept him later. It's easy if you confess soon. Because I loved how she accepted him lying about his office and company so easily. Likewise now that she fell in love with actual Dosan, there are high chances she'll think that the imaginary boyfriend wrote only a fake letters because of grandma and with no actual love, but the real dosan is the one who loves me. She'll get to think like this only if truth is revealed sooner and not later

Then, it was also his idea to keep on lying to Dalmi despite the fact that Jipyeong already mentioned that Dalmi's grandmother was already going to tell Dalmi the truth. So in a way, it's also Dosan fault. He's also willingly giving Dalmi white lies, just like the grandmother and Jipyeong. 😊
