The best thing about Yi Jin is that he is not those unrealistic cheesy guy who does completely ridiculous thing to show that he love you. He actually take care of her. He showed his love by taking care of her. Small gestures such as holding her things, shedding her under the umbrella, keeping the stickers for her and many more. He loves her through all his actions. That is why it is really hard to accept that they broke up for good just after one fight. How am I ever going to move on from this? Ottokeeeeeee. Send help pls!

And he was the only one who looked for her after abruptly leaving the press conference, used his one precious wish slot (from cheekily winning the fencing game against her) to ask her not to make more problems, face the mess she had created herself, and took a full responsibility for it. They made each other a better person. Sad how the writer turned them into a completely different personality nearing the end.

I agree with you #Nadea. Even Back yi jin comforted her in many ways. Back yi jin was one of the biggest supporters of Na hee do. They rooted for each other. The relationship they were able to build up from ep 1-15 that broke up in the blink of an eye at ep 16. Therefore It’s hard to accept the unwanted ending. Is Hee do happy with her husband?? I really want to know.

@@julymiranda3766 well it was one fight that was showed to us. I understand Hee Do might have felt that she needs to go through what her mom did to her all over again. So thats what time jumps were for. The writers can easily show they reunited in 2009 since Hee Do retired and Yi Jin is back in Korea. Nevertheless, was a beautiful story and as a hopeless romantic I just wanted it to be a happy ending. ❤️

its so sad knowing they didn't end up together. yes, we all wanted that ending, but this drama taught us that its simply just a part of life. anyway, who else suddenly gets really depressed after they finish a drama? i do, and i guess its because my mind knows there wont be anymore Twenty-Five, Twenty-One episodes.

After the finale, it’s just so hard to watch these wholesome moments back without my heart aching. It’s so bittersweet that their 2521 love was this pure yet so brief because that’s exactly what Jaurim’s song captures. In this coming-of-age period, the growth in tragedy and love builds the foundation of your maturity and is why it is such a meaningful period.

OMG their acting and chemistry is SO DANG GOOD I kept getting butterflies. Kim TaeRi embodies every character she plays (she IS Na Hee Do! So phenominal) and NJH has exponentially grown since WLFKBJ (also one of my faves). He was so phenomenal Yejin! 2521 was so heartbreakingly good, I don't regret watching it. All the highs and lows, anger, pain, love, friendships, dreams, tears and laughter...It's truly a masterpiece. One of my top faves for sure. Wishing the whole cast more success bc they all deserve it!

most of the baekdo scenes felt like they're not acting. This is one of the examples. No cringe scenes, just fluffy and heartwarming. Says so much of how good of an actors they are and how much they're so comfortable with each other. Forever baekdo. Missing 2521 so much :(

Tbh with you guys..,,,I wouldn’t have been this heartbroken with the ending if Hee Do and Yi Jin were not played by Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk. I’ve watched hundreds of dramas so I’m quite okay with bittersweet endings but this was different. They played their character so well and the chemistry was just so outstanding that it just made sense for them to be together. They really embodied Hee Do and Yi Jin. It was shown in the BTS just how much they added to these characters through their adlibs. They had so much fun making the drama that we as fans felt it through that final takes!! I hope this will not be the last drama of them together! 🥰

I guess the reason why we were all rooting for them to be endgame because of how their relationship was built from friendship and being each other's support system. There was no falling in love because of their looks but it's more of having someone to rely on in your toughest times and at the same time, bring you so much happiness.

Such a sweet scene, but such a heart-breaking ending. I think as viewers we understand that as couples even though you strive as much as you can to make it work, it just sometimes doesn't work. What I don’t understand is how can you build their relationship so beautifully in so many scenes only to bring it crashing down in the last two. That was where it doesn’t make sense to me. If I was the writer, I would have taken my time with their ending too, in order to give us viewers a greater chance to process their ending. As far I’m concerned, I would take this story as one of youth and growth but not love as I don’t think their love was done justice 🥲

I completely agree with how they rushed the ending. The last two episodes were their relationship just crashing down and I didn’t have the time to process what was happening so I think that made it more painful and more difficult to move on 🥲 All those happy episodes just for the last ones to be filled with complete heartbreak

I felt how genuine their relationship is and how heartbreaking the breakup is. The breakup scene - one of the best if not the best Ive seen. I felt it in my bones I was bawling during their last goodbye at the bus stop. I felt like I wanna have a say too! They cant just breakup like that! How about us?! Twenty Five Twenty One was genuinely one of the best drama’s I have ever watched. Although everyone wanted the two to be together in the end, I came to a realization that the only way for both to genuinely be happy in the futures, they had to be apart. This allowed Baek Yi Jin to advance in his career of becoming a news anchor and bring his family together again. This also helped Na Hee Do to follow through with her fencing career, with less stress for the both of them. Although I wish they would have waited for each other, this shows the more realistic versions of dramas. This truly was the definition of taking care of someone else’s soulmate.

Every time I'm feeling a lil off, I am coming back to this video. It is just so heartwarming. I understand the reasons for their breakup. She did not want a life similar to what she had until then (w.r.t Her Mother). They always had to stay apart due to Yijin's reasons (which were understandable), she did not want it anymore. But the amount of love I see in this video just fills my heart and soul.

This show came on strong towards the end. I've seem too many Kdramas fade the last few episodes, so I was glad this one didn't. As the story line shifted to the cast becoming adults, I felt the show went to a new level. I very much enjoyed this show and complement the cast and crew, well done.

I have watched many korean drama but this drama gave me something that I can't even express in words. Such a beautiful drama, all the character in this drama leaves a certain message. I just can't get over with it. As a person who loves to watch happy ending , the ending between the main character was a little bit upsetting to me.. Aww This drama has driven me crazy........

Oh God this beautiful chemistry with Wonstein’s song. I’m floored by their beautiful relationship and how it could have ended in under two years. I can only hope they reunited in the future (if Hee Do is divorced). A love like this would be so incredibly hard to find twice.

Even though the ending hurt us, this still top 2 in my all time K-drama favs, just behind "My mister". What a great journey 25-21 has been. The acting and the cinematography are top tier.

The scene only lasted for 2 minutes-ish but managed to put a smile on my face for the whole day because it's too cute and they looked so happy. That was until I spent 3 days of tears just because of the last scene in this episode and the next episode. Ugh love is pain.

2521 becomes one of my favorite kdrama all time. Because of this drama, I am now a fan of these two excellent actor and actress. Looking forward with their next projects. I am now watching Mr. Sunshine. I know it's not a good idea but yeah, I love pain and I admire Taeri's acting sm✨

I liked mr sunshine ending than this .Both love stories are very pure,start with friendship then love ,deep talks, very special kind of love . Honestly 2521 they rushed the last episode . Its totally dont make sense such a guy who even choose sport department and changed to other because of his girl to lost her because of career thing.
