I had such a good laugh. Now all of a sudden the mother is humble and seeks Nam's forgiveness. Why did she lie to him in the first place. Keeping this lie for so many years and pretend that she has a prestigious lifestyle. Oh what will the family say if Nam marries Pham. BS she was the one with the biggest secret. And why did she call the dad A-hole on Nam. The dad humiliated Nam in front of Pham and all the while the parents had this big secret. I really hope that Nam's mother wil change after this. Yes it is up to Nam to forgive her, after she gave him so much hassle not to marry Pham. Come on old lady, you still have a fruitful life to live, leave Nam and Pham alone to live theirs.

Sometimes hiding trueth is not good it causes more misunderstanding and uncomfortable feelings it's so hurtful to accept. I agree with Phum that Mr Nam must understand and accept someday you'll be all happy. For now leave it just move on even it is so so hurting. What a wonderful family. Nothing is good to view. Let see what happen in the end of the day. Nam does not know & understand who brought him just because he thought he was brought up by Pham's mother. Forget his own mother. Nam you will not know what will happen to you next. Maybe one day you will kick out by your wife Pham. So both don't be too happy now or may be Nam will find a new girlfriend. Both focus on your future plan think positive about everything. No need to make things harder for yourselves meaning being sad and worrying. I'm comparing the shiny house with marble tiles every where and shiny wood colums everywhere, to Pham humble home. The first example is an empty, sad house deprived of love and laughter, filled with pretense and skeletons kept hidden in their carved wood closests and filled with very intricate seatings of also shiny wood. The second example is a home filledl with love, laughter, where people sit around on the floor and actually joyfully, converse with each other. A HOUSE IS JUST THAT, A HOUSE, UNTIL THOSE LIVING IN IT, BY THEIR LOVE, MAKE IT A HOME. No wonder why Nam was willing to give the shiny fluff up for a real family.
