Hello! Thanks for sharing. In fact, we cycled past the "shop" to embark onto hot air balloons. :) But because we've taken the hot air balloon at Turkey, Cappadocia, we didn't see a need to take this round. 😆
Hi Aeries, yes we did. We bought ours via Discovery Laos, and will be sharing our train experience/ purchase in our next video releasing this week. Hopefully it will be helpful to you too.
We took several train rides between Vientiane, Vang Vieng and Luang Prabang. Some of our tickets were purchased via discoverlaos.today/tour/train-ticket, some via the ticketing office at the stations. Check out our next vlog on LCR which will be released this week! :)
@9:18 Correction: it was a JOINT decision to rent bicycles. While cycling was an atypical and legit quite painful on our asses/ thighs option, it is still quite an experience to bike through the countryside at a slower pace, stopping along the way to take in the amazing scenery @10:21 leave the cycling and filming to Mr.P steady hands. @17:12, freshest tuna salad of the whole trip! Post dinner, we crossed back the Namsong Bridge in the dark. There were two vehicles who conveniently ignored the signs and drove across the wooden planks, to the bewilderment of locals. Guess everyone has different risk tolerance levels, we saw how the fast moving the water below was. Have you climbed Nam Xay before? Let us know how was your experience!
Comment not great. Too much negative energy. Learn how to control your self importance. I will wish for your sub someday when we do better video to your expectations.
