Exactly, in order to get viral. And if someone says that no one is willing to embarrass themselves like that, well, I would argue that they are underestimating the desperation of people.
north carolina is full of smart ppl my cousins live in tht state and south carolina has plenty of smart ppl aswell. every state and country has dumb ppl and smart ppl.

Lol there are smart people in NC. Not to mention this is probably a skit. I hope so anyways, otherwise I want to know where in NC she got her education lol.
@@Golfer-rl2gs The point isn't that smart people exist in NC, we have smart people everywhere. Point is that an average American like herself does not the know fundamentals of her OWN objective geography and or country is what's WRONG. Regardless of where she got her education from. This is just sad.
I mean she is dumb..... But dumb like a broken clock technically.... In the USA the States part means the same thing as Nations, Native American Reservations are also treated as Nations... So under the Articles of Confederation(a word that basically implies a union of nations) and the later Constitution that replaced them in creating a Federal System..... The USA is basically just the United States(Nations(Countries)) of America.....
(Native part: Internal Nations Legally..... 574 of these in addition to the 50 US States and the Federal Government that also counts as a Nation individually due to overlapping sovereignty as all of these entities have it to some degree... So within the USA there are at least 625 Nations going just by this without more thinking on it...)
Heard story from a Czech teacher being briefly swapped with a colleague in US. Seeing no equipment in the school, he brought a globe to the geography lesson. They made sure he only does administrative tasks from that point on, instead of confusing geography students with well - geography.
Trump's lot want to abolish the Department of Education. Does that mean all schools and colleges will close in the USA? Or will it be "Christian classes" instead?
As I’m from that girls state ( North Carolina) (no joke) that video was hilarious, but still I found out that there are dululu pro max people here guys. But it was still funny.
Oh dear God. I am from North Carolina. Most of us are NOT this delulu. I mean, we all have our village dum-dum, but wow. How did she graduate from high school?
I know it looks bad but hear me out just u search "young girl (4 year old )to learns periodic table" "young boy graduates university" "young child doing hard math quiz" okay.. there's so much more... THere is a "whole" different world from a girl like this (Which tbh, already seems like a skit to me. most of these are just for views so dont believe em)
In a sense, she is right as they are being taught that each STATE in the UNION is a country, that joined the USA. That is the way the Republican System Works... So don't confuse her...
Not completely wrong though, considering how many definitions this word has in English. Perhaps it's a good opportunity to encourage the kid to use the vocabulary to its full potential.
She cannot tell the difference between a continent, a country, and a state. One simple question and she CAN'T get it right. This is something I learned from the 5th grade.
@UltraDestroya48 and where did it take you?In my opinion history n geography are pretty useless subjects so I never understood why anyone would brag about knowing how to name countries or their capitals lol
To be fair, it isn’t consistently like this. Individual states control what’s being taught. Places like North Carolina keep people dumb so they keep voting red.
@@user-lj8py5bz7l the US education model is the Prussian system. It's not developed to teach much, it's developed to create obedient soldiers, just so happens that it works well to make factory workers but what it really does best is domesticate.

Be a comedy skit, be a comedy skit, be a comedy skit, for the love of all that is beautiful in this universe, please, please, please be a comedy skit. If not, we need a bigger meteor. A meteor made of radioactive, poisonous materials. Maybe the size of Jupiter. She probably thinks Mexico is in South America. Big, big meteor.
I think she's contagious. My mind went blank for a minute and I couldn't think of a country in North America starting with U. Then I remembered the United States.
As an american, I feel embarrassed for this person. I love to study history, geography, cultural anthropology, linguistics. Not only do I like my own country and I know the history but I like to study other countries too. Feel bad for people outside of the United States saying people in the USA are stupid because if we keep getting people like this person then yeah their words are going to be true and that's sad. I don't want that to be true at all. Now I got a lot of countries right that are part of North America but there's some that I didn't know was part of North America. I had to look up what countries are part of North America. Kind of makes me feel stupid to know that some countries I thought were South American or actually North American but I'm not this dumb like wow.
Wasnt it recently found that half of med school graduates frim UCLA cant pass basic proficiency tests? Not doctor ones, the ones we take in high school... for basic things like math, science, reading and writing. Actual... medical doctors, from a prestigious med school like UCLA... cant pass those tests.
I’m a boomer, girl read a book. My mother ( born in 1914) did her homework by kerosene lamp, English not her first language and she was a teacher. I’m cringing every day at all this. I love learning 😊 I subscribed.😊
when she said she was from North Carolina, it reminded me of Family Guy. they drive by a sign that says "welcome to North Carolina. First in Flight, 48th in Education." 😆
Her genuine confusion too lol I’m not sure what would be worse: her being confused when confronted with facts, or her insisting that she’s right when confronted with facts
Republicans believe in less taxes and smaller government. So that means less money for public institutions like public education. There is a correlation between the quality of education provided in blue states and red states. But blue states do have a problem with minority areas being underserved as tax revenue for schools is also based on county taxes. So the rich suburbs will have better schools than poor urban areas. Rich people in urban areas usually send their kids to private school because public education in major cities is usually subpar.
