Finally finished watching the adaptation today and I was mega impressed with all the casting. Everybody managed to stay true to the personalities of the characters but in a relatable/realistic way that was appropriate for live action.

I haven't watched the anime yet but I really liked Nami and Emily did such a wonderful job playing her. The saddest scene was Arlong turning his back on their agreement and betraying Nami and she stabs her arm where the sawfish tattoo is. It was really messed up what he did. Finding out the reason why Nami worked for Arlong was also sad. She was desperate for her hometown to be free. I was so happy for her at the end when she was free. Can't wait to see more of her in season 2. Phenomenal edit as always!! 🤩👌

Yeah...I mean sure Sanji simps a lot...but so far he's always been right in these situations. He was right about Nami, he was right about Robin, he was right about Viola and he was right about Pudding. Oda has a funny way of doing things.

Thanks for making these dude. It actually means so much lol Tribute-type videos were always something that can be so incredible for an anime character and as much as i love live action One piece, some of the scenes didnt hit the same as the show, whether that be cuz i knew it was coming or not idk, but after watching this, and some of your others, i find myself gettin the same reaction to your edits as I did the scenes when i first watched the anime. the shit hits and it makes the point stronger that this is an amazing cast!

I love that they didn't include Nami beating up her crew yet in this live action or maybe they won't because it's too much like what had been showed in manga and anime. But honestly, live action may be much more emotional and violent.

Well she's all of that but they didn't focus on her look and more on her character's depth and the result is great and refreshing. She's not just a fantasy but a real and natural beautiful young woman with an amazing soul. She's epic and she literally makes this cartoon a real person. When you have this charisma you don't need a better hair cut or more boobs lol. She's a real Queen.

I simply did not like that they made Nami take the initiative to go to Arlong and make a deal with him I wish it was the opposite like in the anime ans manga but otherwise I did not mind the other changes.
