This time 3 years ago.
Here’s a quick edit I put together as I went along documenting the event.

The eleven-day festival of the Karaga, which is believed to have been celebrated for centuries, generally has lakhs of devotees carrying out the frenzied procession. But now, for the second time around, it will be carried out in smaller numbers happening tonight.
I clearly remember the spiritual presence felt during the festival and its sheer number of people and devotion is undeniable and unbounded.
Hoping we all get to be a part of it again next year, as we emerge stronger, safer and more hopeful. May the spirit of Draupadi watch over us in these testing times. Until then, Stay safe and well.
P.S. The historical and cultural significance is far too much to be able to summarise it over a post.
For all those who haven’t heard of this urban festival before, a quick google search about Bangalore Karaga will give you so much more than I can possibly summarise over a post.
