Lek, when i saw NamTip putting her whold side of her face on the side of her new mother and held he face for a minute, I just got so emotional. What a fabulous moment for her and it also made me feel like crying for her, for all the time she lost with her mother and herd all those years. How can people be so cruel. I will never understand this. I love you for all you have done through all the years to dedecate your life to helping all elephants. Your first scream from a elephant when you were alittle girl shaped your life. God bless you and all your muhuts and care givers, feeders, everyone who works in your kingdom. I love all animals.

Poor baby has never had a regular herd relationship or anything close. Her new nannies and friends just welcome all who come no matter what. MalayTong is so sweet and calm and a perfect new nanny. You need huge cement “stools” with rubber tops throughout the facility to allow the elephant to rest her knee on while standing. I can see that standing on 3legs constantly is troublesome for her for long periods of time. This might bring comfort to her.

Wonderful! Poor ole girl needs physical connection with her own kind. Every other elephant rescue on the internet seems to need to be close to another elephant, and finally, she is finding a family! Wahoo 🎉❤🎉 NamThip already looks so much better, thanks to the humans who love her. Such a sad thing how skinny she is, even her trunk is thinner than her new cuddle buddy.

Yay!!! I hope we'll get to see more NamThip milestones that were mentioned like taking her 1st mud bath with the herd, her first time to the river, her first cake. Like so many others I also am curious about her tail, not so much "what" happened but wondering if it might ever be possible to affix a prosthetic device she can wear during the day. I'm going to have to pay more attention, too, to see if the other elephants hold their tails as erect from their bodies as I see NamThip doing. I wonder if it still pains her, like the scar tissue. Anyway, thank you!!.

Does NamThip have something wrong with her left eye? She looks like she's got a weepy eye that causes streaming that goes all the way down her trunk. Did she scratch it or get something into the eye that's causing the eye to water.

I can't imagine the suffering these poor souls have had to endure 🥹 Thank God (and Lek & ENP) they got a second chance for a better life 🙏
