The government wants to transform the Namugogo Martyr's shrine into national tourist centre.
Vice President Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi said this during the celebrations to remember the death of the Christian Martyrs.
NTV's Solomon Serwanjja begins our special news tonight on the Martyrs day celebrations with this story.

Catholics where ever you love I love you, and those who were able to go to Namugongo to celebrate martrys day may God bless you and the ones that were not able to go there lets pray to God to help to go there 2014, God bless you.
