Try "3D Kanojo: Real Girl" + the 2nd season (i'd recommend the dubbed version), "Natsuyuki Rendezvous" and "Ore Monogatari!!". These three come pretty damn close to what i felt while i watched Nana (crying and laughing included) 😉😄
Sheesh... All the recent views on this video makes me happy for the Nana fans. Glad to know the Nana Nation is out there. I understand that anime with a story like this isn't meant to captivate the majority of anime fans, but this show does not get mentioned enough in anime talks.
Hey great trailer but you should cut out the first 20 seconds that feature RU-vid comments. Maybe make the trailer's footage a little longer as well. No reason to break the immersion from the Footage, narration, amazing editing, and excellent ost choice!
Hey, I've just stumbled upon your video and decided I want to watch Nana (never heard of it before but am always on the hunt for tear-jerking anime stories). Still, I'm wondering which I should watch first: the anime series or any of the two live-action movies for the most intense experience?
Hi. I missed this comment. You most likely have watched something by now. I 've only seen a small portion of the live-action movies. It was hard for me to get into the movie, based on the scene I saw. So I can't recommend anything about that.... The show seems to be loved by many tho and it is very intense... Well i'd say a better word is "real" instead of "intense". The second half of the show is hard for me to finish thru anytime I rewatch the show.
Fortunately, for whatever reason, the anime gods allow for an entire playlist of all 40+ episodes to exist here on RU-vid. Below is a link to all the English dub episodes. The first 4 or 5 episodes is really just to show the background of the two women. Episode 5 or 6 is gonna mostly seem like a repeat of episode 1, it's weird. But if you are still interested by episode 7, you'll prob love the whole story. ru-vid.com/group/PLGKoIuW7PGBpGcxK6efeUygalCHid6FBN
Like probably with all anime, your general preference is probably what’s gonna suit you best. I watch dub anime nearly exclusively. I haven’t seen the sub. Maybe someone else that likes and watches both sub and dub can help more. But if you do enjoy dubs, this dub DEFINITELY delivers the emotion and intent of the show. ru-vid.com/group/PLGKoIuW7PGBpGcxK6efeUygalCHid6FBN
I know a higher quality version of the show just starting airing in anime places on the internet, but I revisit those episodes in that playlists almost annually.
It's about the friendship between two young women, their different social groups and their relationships.... It's very funny at times. And other times it can be very emotional. Depending on how your social life is, or has gone, certain scenes or monologues might strike a chord in you. Life isn't always sweet.
