I've been on this planet a long time. But this has to be the sexiest rock performance I ever saw. Not only the lead singer Nancy, check out the two gals on the left. WOE. Down Boy.
@@brucepappas6298 Glad it's not just me. I noticed a resemblance to Dawn, when she was younger, when I first saw her "Let's Hang On" video, so I went to Dawn's RU-vid channel and watched a few of her videos that were about 25 or 30 years old and... I saw a resemblance.
Wow, I never knew there was a cover of LG's Maybe I Know until know. This was terrific. Thank you for the introduction to Nancy Boyd and The Capello's.

This is one of Nancy Boyd's great songs. Another great song from Nancy is 'A lover's concerto', wich is mentioned a few times in the comments on this page. I think there is a videoclip from 'A lover's concerto' as well. @BR Music will you please upload the clip from 'A lover's concerto' on this channel?
Brilliant singer ! Hellishley looking . And if that ain't enough wot a body ..... 😃 and if ULLMAN thinks she can take the piss . Well she's sadly mistaken . Ullmans the joke with the close together eyes
Does anybody know the name of the two female Capello's? Are they still performing anywhere? I am so much in Love with their style. I must have watched the two videos a thousand times so far just to watch those to sing and dance.
Keith, If you like this, run down a copy of her CD "Let's Hang On". I looked her up after I heard her version of A Lover's Concerto and found it was released as a single, but also on that album. First released as an LP and then as a CD. It's out of print, but I found a brand new CD on Ebay, so I bought it and I'm glad I did (I also found copies of the LP, but you can't play vinyl in a car). It's all covers, but all well done. Not a bad track on it. Only one of my cars has a CD player in it and when ever I drive it that CD is constantly in it. About half the tracks on it are here on RU-vid, but two of the best ones aren't. Included in the tracks, but not on here, are covers of Petula Clark's "My Love" and Helen Shaprio's "You Don't Know" that are great. If your fans of music from the early to mid 60s or you weren't even born then, but not a big fan of the junk the recording industry is turning out today (girl singers that all sound the same or can't sing), or just discovering the era and like it, Nancy really hit it out of the park with that one.
Didn't even know Leslie Gore recorded Lovers Concerto. I always heard it from the Toys (Barbara Harrison) and Sarah Vaughn. I'll have to find it and give it listen.
@@keithorr6878 She never recorded that, Toys did. I was talking about MAYBE I KNOW in late 64 /early 65 that Lesley recorded . I Was born in 1952. Never heard of this girl before Nancy Boyd. Read was big in 80-90's. I only listen to 60's stuff
