Yay!!! I have to say, I just started watching your Nancy Drew Walkthroughs recently and I’m so happy I found your channel. It’s like reliving some of the best memories of my childhood. Thank you for playing and posting these!
Idk what I would do without this tutorial. I got this game as a Christmas gift when I was like 10 and could not figure it out for the life of me? I was like “this is an adults game” ok now I’m an adult and I’m STILL just as lost. I really needed this hahaha
I remember as a kid watching my older sister Hannah playing these, as I would watch she wouldn’t need ANY walkthroughs, which amazes me to this day! I absolutely love these games, I remember this one, one with a tornado, one where Nancy was at a ranch, one where she was in Germany, one where Nancy was in France, one where she was in a theater, and one where she was at a manor. These game give me such nostalgia! I absolutely love these games, and I’m so glad I’m getting back into them after such a long time!
The games you mentioned are Trail of the Twister, The Secret of Shadow Ranch, Captive Curse, Danger by Design, The Final Scene and Curse of Blackmoor Manor - if you want to check them out again!
Ah, I remember when I bought this game for my sister years ago. She was totally freaked out by the opening scene the first time she played it. Can't say I blame her, though how I was supposed to know there would be a jumpscare? Been a while since I've watched your posted videos. I've been mostly preoccupied with my German studies, taking super intensive courses and requiring a lot of help from the tutors. Right now it's challenging, having to memorize all the rules and sentence structures (and grammar, which is difficult), not to mention quickly processing all the information, especially when you have to speak in German. If A2 (what I'm taking now) was challenging, can't imagine what it would be like to take B1. Still, I am learning the concepts, just takes time. Hope you're doing okay, by the way!
Other than that one jumpscare, there really aren't any scary scenes in the game, so I hope she decided to give it a go. Yep, German is hard. I stopped learning it when I was around B1 and started working two jobs. Pretty sure I forgot around half of what I knew already. It does require a lot of dedication to master it.
@@AdventureGameFan8 Haha, well she got over the initial shock. She finished the game a couple of times I think. She's very good with playing Nancy Drew, though on occasion I help her, but to be honest, it takes me longer to find the solution. German is indeed hard, but at least it's a tad easier than learning (speaking and writing) Chinese. As I said, it'll take a while for learning a foreign language to sink in, but I earnestly hope my German will be sufficient enough when I study there. You're right about dedication--consistency and enthusiasm are key, though travelling to the center everyday, staying for tutoring and coming home late at night does take its toll. Still, it's worth it.
Keep at it with your german studies. It will be very helpful someday trust me. Deutsch ist eine schwere Sprache, aber sobald du das Konzept verstanden hast, wird es einfacher. Just like it's easy for anybody to be good at english, only a few can speak it well.
Hey ! Seeing your walkthrough made me want to play it, and so I've stopped after 9 minutes in your video and bought the game ! Yesterday I played it during around 7 hours and completed it. Thank you for uploading this ! And thank you for your other walkthrough too, I watched the one of Midnight in Salem in two days ! :D
