I don't know if it's just me but I don't think I could be friends with my so called best friend if she had an affair with my husband! I feel like Darren doesn't know what he wants, you can tell he still has feelings for Nancy but they've gone back and forth so many times it's getting boring! I actually feel very bad for Darren because depression is horrible . Often times people with depression hide how they are feeling and its easier to miss the signs, so if anyone you know and love has depression or you think they might do (you can be wrong) just hug them and tell them you love them before its too late. If you do spot little sign that they might have depression get them help and be supportive. Listen to them with your ears not your mouth. Listen yes I acknowledge that Darren has been a major dickhead but that does not mean he deserves to have depression.

Darren doesn't have much room to talk when it comes to Charlie. I don't know how it works in the U.K. but as far as I know Darren never adopted Charlie and even when he was married to Nancy he was at best Charlie's uncle legally speaking now that they are divorced I can't imagine Darren has any rights when it comes to Charlie. I mean Darren might think of Charlie as his son but Charlie doesn't call him dad or anything like that. If Kyle every marries Nancy he'll have more rights than Darren.
