Don’t call us “Gay-Tay” because not all the former monks are terminated from the Monasteries or Dzongs. In an interview with Sonam Ugyen for Nang-Ghi-Tam, “Gay-Tay” sounds so discriminating complained former monk Namgay Tenzin.
Geday tshogpa should be re-named as Getay Tshogpa. Title "Lopen" is for the teachers. What does Getay teach? How to steal other's wives? All Bhutanese should try their best to call them Getay, at least when they are not around.
