am doing my own house in kakamega and i have gone through this kind of challenges i say you guys are doing well so far thank your sponsors kabisa every day. Imagine doing this bila sponsorships. mtaa shangaaa..god bless yu guys.
Even with all those professionals mistakes are still there. Communication communication communication will finish us. 😅😅😅😅😅. I could bet there will be an issue with the cement bags again.
That is why the Geotech and Structural Engineer need to do soil and foundation studies changes need to be within budget Great Project we love Dinah and her engineers Good Job
The power you guys hold in your name is impeccable...guys if you ask me wacheni story za politics...whatever u think u can do in political positions u can do it where u are right now...my opinion
There is something you need to consider. If you will be having celebrations on the roof top, I hope you have made arrangements to ensure your guests do not survey the whole house on their way up. It might not be an issue when you are young but mkizeeka, mama atanza kuitisha space and privacy for the family. Alternatively, you can make this to be for your family and build a gazebo that can have the bar you are seeking. You can even make it a shared one if you're not intending to separate the two compounds
Also, consider the sizes of the doors for your bedrooms, the bigger the better and the more beautiful. Maybe you can bring in your interior designer even this early to advice
Jalaas na Alex...thanx for highlighting the building process. Many are not aware. I hope that kama kazi imeisha, you guys will have a summery of things you learned and educate people on how to avoid makosa mingi. My opinion on the QS kutojua the depth of the foundation hence miscalculating simiti, is that in the beginning of the process you should have provided him with a geotechnical report on the soil, which your very beautiful Architect should have used to calculate depth of foundation alafu quantities would have been accurate. You guys are always fun to watch....na Jalaas jaduong dala karibu aonekane hapo (fly ya longi manenos.)
I blame all the men wenye walikua hapo plus cameraman for not telling Heavy J kufunga zip ....I am dissapointed to all the men the pr team ...Jalas is a brand and you need to correct on that nimekasirika sana
KWANZA waweke door frames za milango banaa before doing any further plastering works anywhere huko ndani..that way you will use less cement..badala ya kuplaster then putting frames..you bomoa again and re plaster,.tuma fundi mbao kupima each size ya door frame and then order.
Mr. Ugali man njoo ukamate Jalas peleka kwa GYM bhana hiyoo kitambi hapana kabisaa. Jenga na Alex and Jalas I still watching since day 1. A fan From Kilimanjaro, TANZANIA.
This reminds me when I was building a house in the village for my parents I almost gave up,,,they tell you this and when you think you are done they shock you again 😂😂😂😂
This is where project management comes in. It entails architectural job, plumber, electrician and carpenter. Then they should sit down and come up with what we call work breakdown structure and cost breakdown structure. This will give you if not exact, it will plus or minus 10% which is covered by contingency. Hii story ya another ten cement another hundred. No no
@@mwendapoleee Mimi nilitaka kununua cement lorry MZIMA fundi akaanza ohhh itaharibika ohhh mara sijui itaingiza baridi ohhh, after kuulizia nikawaambiwa hakuna hio niukora Tu ndio fundi ashidange hapo akiitisha pesa ya cement 😁😁😁😁.
Alex na Jalas, you can also change that type of meter box, look at tesla Power wall.Look for something that looks like that . Impala glass can make that face look better with a printed glass on the face of the meter box
your plumber is spot on..knows what to do..Make sure drainages are well done before final plasterings ..from what i see you will need at least 150 to 200 bags of cement to do just the drainages manholes and skirtings. maybe 4 more lorries of fine sand...
This really makes me appreciate my fundi sooo much (1) he made sure my meter box in hidden because of security reason (e.g) God forbid a robber comes the first thing the looks for is meter box to turn off the electricity. (2) He said no plastering until windows and doors, electric work and plumbing work is done. Am building in the village and watching this video makes me appreciate my fundis and works more.
Makwakz lazima iwafuate ndio wajenge poa, Makwakz cant give u correct amounts, hata hiyo 2000 nandwa anasema haitoshi, Septic tanks zipo, manholes, na bado hapo props zipo kunahitaji plaster.. Makwaks lazima uvumilie na wao hadi job iishe.
Where was the architecture and the engineer meter box ikiwekwa hapo!! Kenya Power hapo hana makosa bt don't put it down as Jalas is saying ati ifunikwe ni maua 🤣, mtazika mtu akimwagia maua maji. You can construct a concrete meter box in the compound
As a Civil Engineer, the technician needs to do good studies from the beginning. The prediction it's not good in Civil Engineering. You take measures and calculate based on what you have. Documented Bill of quantities avoids these misunderstandings.
Good job Hon heavy J and Alx. Always at construction site wear, hivis and steal cap. Story ya simiti... This is where project management comes in. Proper planning could have helped mitigated some of the abortive works experienced. Once the masonry works are over or mid way, invite the plumber, electrician and other tradesmen involved to map out routes/points for their pipe work, conduits, power points et al. House taking shape. Good progress and amazing work to all the teams.
