The backup monitor is an excellent idea. We'll have to do that aswell. Quick question about the nanit baby monitor. Does it come with a basic subscription when you buy it or do you have to purchase the subscription separately?

You do not need a subscription to use the Nanit! 😊 If you want more than 2 users though, you will need to upgrade and that is pretty expensive with an annual fee. That’s why we chose to buy the second camera! The annual fee was more expensive than the 2nd camera

Instead of buying a separate monitor, is it possible for a caregiver to watch the baby from an amazon fire tablet or amazon echo with screen under your profile? I read that the nanit is compatible with alexa.

Oh I’ve never thought of that! Very interesting idea. I’m not sure if that would work but I’m curious to try
