Nano Jigging and Helping Quad Bike !!!

Was 3 of us but took Heinis to try Nano Jigging for the first time. He enjoyed and was surprised how much pleasure there is to catch those small perch.
At the second part of the day we did challenge who will catch more in this last spot. After we helped to pull out stucked Quad bike, Heinis took the lead and...:)
Gear:
Rod: Ovidijus Putna Custom Rod 172cm, 0.2-1g
Reel: KastKing Kestrel 1000
Braid line: YGK X-braid Upgrade x4 #0.25
My made jig head with #16 fly hook and 4mm 0.48g tungsten sloted bead
Lures:
Crazy Fish MF Classic Worm
Quantum 4street B-Ass Shad 2.2 inch (5.6cm)
Akara Soft Tail - Flat Tail 40 mm

Down near the navigation good spot. Lots of pike above the locks in the woods too.

Thanks for info, I'll keep that in mind 👊 i tried above the locks but ony for perch and it was very snaggy. I turned back after i lost about 10 lures 🤣

Used very similar lure myself the other day. Couldn't get a bite on anything else. Again about 0.6g jig head and a fly fishing hook.

Try in between locks. I noticed as well that hard to find fish, bigger concentration at this moment i find in between and around locks 🎣

Hi mate do you recommend a decent spinning rod? Il be using it for brown trout , ideally a strong 6ft rod

It is very hard to recommend as there is so many rods and i tried only few. And it depends on your budget. I think you should look casting weight up to 7g ir even 10g if you want strong rod. I noticed if you get up to 5g casting weight, they are very light and not enough power to fight big fish in current. Hope it helps at least a bit 🤝🎣
