I would suggest a loop knot. Especially on small lures. It will allow the lure to have more action. That lure is beautiful. Such amazing detail.

Maybe a good idea is to start your intro with a new tool that you bought for making your baits. Also you could start with the date and time of the year.

It looks like a Thylacocephalan, a group of extinct weird little crab-like dudes. Those might be funny for a bait, they often have hanging arms you could replace with a double hook!
