Watching my stuff from the Legend cruise, 60 mph winds were on 9/6 and those waves were not fun. Thankfully Ed and I don't get sea sick. This was when the bags were out. Stupid hurricane. That cream puff needed to be cut, add ice cream to the middle like a sandwich then the chocolate sauce and the cream on top. Nom nom nom. Thank You Sanders.
You were so lucky to have nice weather in Narortalik! I would love to hear from a local about what winter is like there... even though there isn't as much to see as larger ports of call, I think these smaller towns are what you two review the best! I definitely see myself walking and viewing the same types of things you choose to do! Thanks as always, for taking me along on your many shore excursions!❤❤ Rock on!
Great Video! Colorful buildings. Maybe I missed why, but noticed there were two cars in video by buildings but none around the homes? How do they get around?
The history of Lego thanks to Google: The LEGO Group was founded in 1932 by Ole Kirk Kristiansen, a carpenter from Billund, Denmark. However, the first LEGO brick was not introduced until 1958: 1932 Ole Kirk Kristiansen began making wooden toys in his workshop, including cars, airplanes, and yo-yos. 1934 Kristiansen named his company LEGO, which comes from the Danish phrase leg godt, meaning "play well". 1947 LEGO began producing plastic toys. 1949 LEGO produced an early version of the interlocking brick, called "Automatic Binding Bricks". 1958 Christiansen's son Godtfred Kirk patented the brick in its present form, which has interlocking studs on top and tubes on the bottom.
Question not related to this video. I know you love to explore the road less traveled in the ports you go to have you ever been in a situation or location where you felt unsafe?
Great videos of Greenland. I was surprised you didn’t give a little background about the towns. What percentage is Indigenous culture, vs European. Is Greenland position similar to what Puerto Rico is to us. It would have been great to know this, especially since you went to open air museum.
Thankee! Our aim is not to make a documentary-style in-depth profile of the ports that we visit, but rather an edited overview of what we personally experienced in each port. We don’t stop and read every single informational sign aloud just for the sake of pacing. Plus, we try not to show every single detail so that folks visiting on their own in the future have some surprises and new things to discover, if that makes sense!! :P ~Jay
Wow! Nanortalik is so beautiful. You do such a wonderful job on these tours. I really felt like I was walking along with you. Thank you. Also, what were the 2 birds in Photos by Dee (the living ones)?
The Tompouce has in its 'regular' form a pink top layer. It is swwet, vut less so than the orange one. That layer looked very thick. Still tasty. There are whoele diwcuasion how to eat this. pastry best or easiest. 😅 original
