I just got mine today (D6+). It’s my first electric scooter, I’ve never risen one before. I’m used to atvs. This thing is fun! Boy, there’s a bit of a learning curve the throttle is quite sensitive. Loads of fun though!
@@harryarteza3435 still love it. My biggest issue is the tire tubes could stand to be thicker. Or rather the tires. Throttle is sensitive but it’s overall very comfortable and has a top speed of 42 mph scan go 40 miles on a single charge for me. I’m 6’1 180 pounds. I’d buy it again. Charging time is about 10-12 hours from empty.
@@03SilverMustangGT Get a fast charger unless you don't mind waiting extra time, I just have it because I use it quite often and prefer to know that it would be ready if I needed to use it.
I have one, works great. Got annoyed after the 3rd day as it stopped working out of the blue, but it recovered the next day out of the blue. The tech support answered my email early next working day. Tip: put your feet as close as possible to the front wheel to prevent wobbling at medium/high speed. This is something pple never seem to say in reviews and it can be dangerous not knowing.
Yes also glad you said your height, I’m 6’3, 200lbs and I kept looking at scooter reviews and everyone seems to be 5’10 and 150 pounds. Which for most scooters is a great height and weight. When I ride bird or other rideshare brands, the scooters always have a hard time getting me up a hill. So I’m happy to know my D6+ that’s on the way will be able to take me up and down the San Francisco streets.
I love owning this scooter. Coming from a mi m365. This is a beast. I only weigh a buck twenty and it hauls ass. I'd recommend switching out the knobby tires for street tires unless you primarily off-road. The only problem I have encountered is with the really low quality of screws that come stock. They strip no matter what, so I'd keep a screw extraction kit on hand and buy a set of replacement screw on the internet of good quality for like 15 dollars. Not a huge investment considering it's over 1700 dollars. I was taking the screws off the shocks to put on the better ones they sent me for free. The back one went on much more easily and is like butter off jumps. I couldn't believe how much more stability and confidence it gives of jumps and over rough ground
@@mariogomez6478 yeah man I actually had to order one last week it came today. Just go to the nanrobot.com site and they have the tires with the tubes in them for 50 dollars total. I personally went with the street tires as the off-roads it came with don't have very good grip when turning on assphalt on such a powerful machine. I also got their free upgraded suspension kit I'm planning to install over the next few days with the tires.
Just got my new Nanrobot D6 yesterday... and Wow! It is a blast to ride... fast..strong.. solid... so many products these days are advertised to be so great..and then when you get it.. it's usually not even close to what the "picture" looked like.. or does not perform as advertised...etc... Not in this case.. I am 100% happy... satisfied and surprised the product is better than what I imagined! Spring will be here before you know it.. get one!
@@igorlmonte Thank you Igor.. and to be honest it was watching your videos that sold me on it.. I think you make the best most informative scooter videos... So thanks again!
I’m getting ready to order one myself. Wondering how long it took from ordering until you received it yesterday? I’m wondering because I’m moving in three weeks.Thank you in advance for your response.
D4+ 2.0 owner here, which is a fantastic scooter btw; the only thing I am by now REALLY grieved about quite hard is that it hardly comes over 31 mph (GPS-measured; my weight is 176 ibs) despite being claimed a 40 mph scooter - that's the ONLY reason I'm jealous about the D6+ bc you often get a stupid smile from all those annoying-noisy motor scooter drivers that are always albe to drive 5-7 mhp faster than you which would be no more of a concern with the D6+.. Well..my next scooter anyway would be a Rion that lets me chase cars on the highway and fu** anything in terms of acceleration, except for sports-bikes and super sports cars but on that thing 80 miles will feel like 190 on a sports bike, so I'm waiting for the day some wannabe motorcross-biker taunts a wheelie next to me only to get stunned right after by the sheer force of the Rion that will haunt him into his dreams - it will be the pure joy of understatement and I will laugh my freaking ass off when I imagine their stupid face after being left by an escooter. I tell you, that day will come..
ordered mines on a thursday, had it the following thursday, about 7 days ,shipped from colorada going to nj,its awsome hold on for sure respect its power
And by the way thank you for making the video. What a great review. It's actually this video that encouraged me to buy one. I can't wait till it arrives!
Bro I love your video I heard you mention you will be uploading more content I’m hoping as soon as possible because I have a electric scooter but mine is only 36mph which is still pretty good for me as I use it for fun and pleasure, keep this up dude it’s awesome I’m from the uk
@@SwitchUpYt I used silicone, rode it a few times now in the rain with no issues. Need to do the throttle tho, thats not waterproof, I wipe the rain off of it as I go along.
once i saw this nanrobot D6+ i fell i love 40 mph with over40 miles of range for under 2k$ that is calling my name i have been wanting a scooter but ot some slow pos and slow but after researching this scooter it is everything and more that I want I will deff be buying soon to drive around town and save gas and take it to work. this looks like a blast. i was going to get the LS7 but thats over 3G$ and goes aboout 55 but i think 40mph is fast enough for me for the price. and another plus is you can add a seat! this scooter is a no brainer I found my christmas gift! thank you NANROBOT for kicking the competitions @$$!!!! the nanrobot D6+ is amazing and i cannot wait to buy it im like a little kid how anxious i am to buy this scooter lol. last time i was this excited for a scooter waas when i was like 11 years old when my mom bought me a razor scooter, luckily no more smashing my shins with the nanrobot haha cant wait!
First of all, massive fan of your videos, thank you. In your honest opinion, would you go for the D6+ or LS7? LS7 is currently on offer and wondering if it’s worth the £400 more than the D6+?
Hey! Thanks man! I think overall the D6+ is a better scooter, love the suspension, size and specs. 26ah version has a better range than 25ah ls7. The only clear advantage of the ls7 is its speed.
I AM THINKING OF BUYING BETWEEN THE D6 + AND THE VARLO EAGLE 1, THE D6 + HAS ONLY A 6 MONTH WARRANTY AND EAGLE 1 2 YEARS, I SAW ON THIS VIDEO THE PORT CHARGERS HAS A COVER PROTECTORS, BUT I HAVE SEEN THEY DONT HAVE THEM TO FOR WATER PROTECTION AND SON ON. THE HEM CAN NOT BE LOCKED ONCE IS FOLDED. THE D6 IS 200 BUCKS MORE THAN THE EAGLE ONE. AND THE EAGLE 1 IS WATER RESISTANT. WELL ANY SUGGESTIONS?
I would recommend the oil brakes, gonna swap my disc brakes to hydraulic soon. They didn't have an option with oil brakes available when I ordered the scooter.
I am 5”4 will the nanrobot be a perfect fit for someone like myself? Been wanting to buy one but don’t know what the height requirement for something like this.
I just got mine! This scooter is worth the wait! Question- anyone know what the little orange exclamation is on my control display when I apply breaks? Also what is N-Soft?
Hey! I agree, really like it too. The exclamation sign appears every time you push the brakes as I've noticed. I think that's how it's supposed to be. N-soft is shown if the power start is activated, P7 setting. 👍
Excellent video, is it better than the Dualtron in the city? In your experience, which one will you choose New Dualtron, the Dualtron Eagle Pro, Dualtron mini or NANROBOT D6 +? Greetings from Peru
I've got d4 d4+ and d5+. Worst things is that the break pads and small things fuck up fast and there's no replacements if you live in europe, takes hours to find a supplier and then shipping takes months and toll cost 100 times the price of the item. it sucks. the display stopped working, one didnt work from start. brake wire snapped, the d4 had a bad battery, lights stopped working on all three after just a month or so. So lots of problems and a pain in the ass. Flat tires is a daily pain so eventually you just put on airless tires. Plus: The battery on my d4+ and d5+ is great, I can go so long on a higher gear, no complaints. Tip for the manufacturer: On the D4 there was a bigger deck, then you made it much smaller, for a 6'4 guy i have one foot almost at the front tire. That one also had a bigger thing for folding, i never used it for folding but it had a hole so you could lock your scooter up with a fat chain which could not be broken, now i have to snake the chain around the neck and if someone wants parts they can rip the handle off and take off with the rest. not good.
Thanks! It's Spada helmet, but it looks like they are sold out. I found a copy of that: www.amazon.com/ILM-Motorcycle-Cruiser-Scooter-Midnight/dp/B0821BCMGC/ref=sr_1_125?crid=2KQTE945RQSW&dchild=1&keywords=full%2Bface%2Bhelmet%2Bblack&qid=1603352331&s=automotive&sprefix=full%2Bface%2Bhe%2Caps%2C257&sr=1-125&th=1
@@jacobbagley9007 try this : But i can't belive cuz i fix it. They put me to go to P8 setings and to keep M pressed until go back to main menu. I think was limited :)
Hi & thx for this review 🙂👍,I have a M365,its ok but not good enough & it's time to upgrade to this monster.will order one just holding out for black Friday just to see if its a little cheaper thx.
Is this scooter better than those chinese brand scooters on amazon? I see scooters on amazon that say they are more powerful than this for like the same price
Hey, I am pretty tall guy and wondering how much i could raise the handlebars. I know I would need to change the handle bar but worried if there is enough loose on the cables. Can you advice here?
Hi i did order my scooter d6+ i can’t wait i Finally ordered after watching A lot of reviews I already got my ninebot max g30p it’s a great scooter too
hello guys,, im heavy person,,, 260lbs, im planning to buy this scooter,,,, need to know the difference between 52V scooter and 60v.scooter,,, thanks,,,have a great day
How would you rate this for heavier riders? Thinking about something to ride around at racetracks as a spectator, as I can't toss a motorbike in my trunk like others do with their trucks.
No experience with scooters yet so its hard to understand the size and weight, do you think for someone around 183cm and 100kg it could be worn on my back with a strap attached to the front and rear "forks" or wheels or somewhere? If I couldnt push it around inside somewhere and didnt want to lock it up outside, do you think its possible to wear it on your back?
You're from Tallinn? That's cool. Great camerawork by the way! I don't know how you even managed to get these shots from 10:30 onwards, etc. Has the police given you any crap about the scooter now that the new lame traffic regulations are in effect in Estonia?
Ikka Tallinnast jah! :) Those are filmed using a 360 cam. No issues with the police, those scooters are still in that 'grey' zone, haven't heart about any penalties. However, I never ride fast inside the city.
Great review. I weigh about 190 pounds, do you think I would be able to ride this without it losing too much power? What kind of speed do you think I would get?
to everyone who has bought this scooter, is it fast enough for you and is there any problems with it i really wan to to get it but want to hear from someone who has this scooter and hear what they think about it. seems amazing just want someone else input
Did Nanrobot clone the Zero 10x/Turbowheel Lightning? Only difference I can see is that the stem looks thicker and does it improve on the 10x?. The shocks seem stiffer than the other two. Any other differences between these 3 models?
Great video! Can you go over what the number on the digital meter on the left hand side mean? I just got my d6+ and I don’t understand what it actually means. What is full?
voltage, 58.5 is usually full, 43 volts is cutoff (dead). I usually keep mine between 52-56 volts. Don't run it all the way down (43v) and full charging it every time may reduce battery life. Fast charging is nice, but I wouldn't do it unless needed as it strains the battery.
Hello, what’s the proper way of charging the nanrobot D6+? Coz, a couple of times When I was charging my scooter I burned two charging ports and the two chargers.
I’m thinking about getting this or the Apollo Pro, I’m having a tough time making a decision. I ordered an Apollo Explorer (my first scooter) which is coming in later today. I’d like to know how it’s serving you, and if you’re still happy with it. Love the video bro
When you get the scooter because of the Chinese manufacturer do you have to retighten all the bolts when you received your scooter did you have anything falling out
Hey! Nothing was falling out. Bolts and screws have to be checked on every scooter, not only Chinese. I repositioned the controls on the handlebar, so not a big deal to double-check everything anyway.
I have 2 on order. It’s taking forever! I love this review though, i get to live vicariously for the time being. I ordered mine on May 5th and they still haven’t shipped.
Very satisfied, all these videos about the scooter are right on point. I did have an issue with the battery not charging to full capacity but the support was amazing and they shipped out a new battery immediately.
I noticed that on the homepage of the website, there is a display photo which states that the display is weatherproof. The photo shown on the main homepage when I selected the D plus model shows rain in the background. So my question is, is the scooter water resistant to the point where if I get caught in the rain, will my scooter still function?
I would say it's water repellent, not totally resistant. Been riding in pretty heavy rain without any problems, the most problematic spot is where the deck connects to the fork. Remove the plastic plate held by 4 screws, where all the wires from the stem go into the deck. I got some silicone and fill that hole tight. No water inside the deck even after heavy rain. To be extra sure, I would also place some silicone under the deck cover.
I like the range and speed of this scooter a lot... for commuting to work. 15 miles each way. Would anyone recommend this for commuting? One big concern that I have is tires durability. How many miles before you have to replace these tires?
I'd say you have to replace the tires after every 1000 km / 600 miles (maybe more if you don't brake like crazy and use normal start, not power). Same story with brake pads.
Hello I’ve just received my d6+ and I dont think it Is as it should be. In turbo mode it’s fine but in Eco mode it won’t go over 15mph wether in gear 1/2/3 I only get 15mph is that normal also the suspension is like a trampoline it bounces all over the place it has no damping at all any help will be much appreciate thanks
Hello:) I'm between Kaabo Wolf Warrior X, Nanrobot d6+ and Dualtron (aka Minimotors) Victor Luxury. I am 85kg and i want it mainly for commuting in city, i don't really care about top speed just for reliability and safety :) If you want to suggest another option under 2.500 dollars, feel free :) Thank you! ^^
@@castolano both are identical..they just put stickers on them as a rebrad the real brand is TItan in china and half price.. these rebrands charge 2x ...

Hello from New York City, great review! I hope Nanrobot is paying you well or at least giving you FREE scooters😃 Anyway, I'm getting ready to order this scooter in a few minutes with the extra charger as you suggested. Do you have any other tips you didn't cover for when I receive my scooter? Thanks
I'm in baltimore I ordered mine today with a extra charger my damn self. I want that zero 10 but they sold out.The lights on this way better than the zero. I really really want that Inokim OXO but for 2600 I stick with the nanrobot
