Nans-les-Pins is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France.
The rediscovery of the crypt of Sainte Marie-Madeleine in Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume allows Nans to benefit from the passage of pilgrims to Sainte-Baume. The castle town then benefited from a decisive economic contribution in its development. In 1390, a new path was laid out to facilitate access to Sainte Baume from the Saint-Laurent hill.
