If you've never tried it, this is the time of year to go all-in on a squid fishing trip. Whether you're fishing for food, bait or just for fun, this fishery is easy to figure out and a great kick off to the season on Cape Cod. On Monday morning, Capt. Mike Hogan and Capt. Larry Backman headed out aboard FV Skipjack to kick off his season by joining a fleet of 100+ boats and test out some of his new squid jigs. Filmed Monday, May 7, 2018.

thanks for the advice guys, I sailed out to an island just out of Auckland New Zealand five days ago and finally found squid, I was excited because I've always wanted to catch them and yep I could not find my squid lures...
