The best hard case I've seen. Nice attention in details... Excellent. One suggestion: optional straps (or strap attachment units/wholes) to carry like a back pack.
I've had my two 935 cases for about three years now. I'm a travelling helicopter mechanic and I keep all of my tools in just two cases. The lid organizer is great for paperwork and office supplies. These are the right size when weight restrictions keep going down and down. I used to travel with two much larger cases at about 70 lbs each loaded now I have to keep each one under 40lbs for the various airlines to accept them. They feel very well made and the handles, rollers and extension mechanism work perfectly. even at -40c the plastic does not become brittle and the latches remain easy to use.
Love this case. Have travelled the world with it as a carry-on, including countless Air Canada flights (so long as plane size accommodates). Upgraded to the TSA latch locks for even more seamless security. Super durable, the 935 gets tons of compliments. Recommend it to anyone.
I just got this, and I was really shocked by how heavy it was empty - Wow! I don't know what the weight is, but it must be almost 20 lbs. I'm scared to see what it will weigh when I fill it up. Good thing it has wheels.
Hi, Thanks for the look at the Nanuk case. I've been searching online for a hard case for a laser level which only came with a soft bag. I came accross these "Nanuk" brand cases while searching on amazon.ca. Do these cases go on sale often, or at all? I think the 908 would be a good size for me, and I'm comparing between that and the Pelican Storm im2075 which seems very similar in size - but a but more affordable at least at the moment. Thanks again.
Dayu Yu The 935 can fit this kit if you remove the hood from the lens. Probably by placing it vertically in the case you could keep all elements in the case.
Hey @eddie! We have never received any complaints from customers being refused on AC planes. I've personally traveled on Air Canada multiple times (National and International flights) with my Nanuk 935 and I've never been stopped. The only time they might ask you to check it is when the plane is full, or on small planes where overhead bins don't accommodate carry-ons.
Because all competing carry-on brands of cases have 22” on the length. I personally travelled with a 935 on Air Canada multiple times internationally and through Canada without any problem.
I have a Nikon d750 with battery grip, sigma 14-24, Nikon 24-120, and Tamron 70-200 f2.8 lenses, Tamron 2x teleconverter, godox speedlight and two godox ad200’s and the dual head attachment. I would like case that has lid organizer available, padded dividers, and wheels. What do you recommend? Is the 935 too small?
Hello Steve, the gear you described won’t fit in the Nanuk 935. I would go with a Nanuk 955 or even 960 because of your AD200 heads. Both these cases have a lid organizer too. www.hardcases.ca/products/nanuk-lid-organizers?variant=31362001436730 www.hardcases.ca/products/nanuk-960 www.hardcases.ca/products/nanuk-955 The 955 has one level while the 960 has two levels of padding. I personally use a 960 for my BRX500 elinchrom flashes in the bottom and all my camera and lenses on the top level.
