My favorite female vocalist. First saw her & the Segos ( original) in early 1960s in a grand opening of a shopping mall. Audience very close to them,no frills,elaborate stages etc. Her voice seemed to captivate you, once it took hold, one would absorb all. Even a young teen,could recognize her talent , feel her closeness to the Lord. A small lady, she didn't need a mic, voice so powerful! Saw her over the yrs, never saw or heard any difference in her, maybe little better, if possible. She was an exceptional nice person.
