Naomi is just a model, Tyra has done and achieved so many and yes all started as a high fashion model. There are so many black models from the 90s: Beverly, Roshumba, Brandi, Karen Alexander and none of them are even heard. Tyra and Naomi are the only ones and I rather Tyra she has the international look even though Naomi’s body is “better”. But let’s be very clear Naomi is not the only black supermodel from the 90s
Meh, I like them both but you can see high fashion is in Naomi's blood so she walks like that to really show the clothes. Tyra is a lot more relaxed and walks mostly to show herself/body.

I think Naomi definitely has more versatility when it comes to her walk and the kind of fashion she’s wears. Tyra is also very good but most of the time she only have one style of walk regardless what she wears.

Naomi's walk is just so elegant. Tyra's is like an overly-hyped Hollywood knockoff of an original French or Japanese classic, gold standard movie- usually not too bad but several notches below the standard.

I would hire Naomi for runway but not print modeling. Naomi photographs a bit hard for me but she is definitely ‘The Queen of Runway’. I would hire Tyra for print and not runway. Tyra photographs effortlessly and quite beautifully in every shot. Online sales would sell out the roof with Tyra’s photograph.

Tyra did a lot of high fashion in her modelling days, she did that without compensating her Persona, which makes her unique. She has this Charisma, the Fierce, Energetic, Extreme Sexiness and Fun that 90's Models lack of. Tyra is the reference of todays Victoria's secret models in their ramp presentation. For me Tyra is the Whole package.
First time watching both models walk. I am a layman and somehow I am drawn to how Naomi walk. I can't quite describe it but it just looks so natural and graceful. It make watching the clothes and the runway very enjoyable. That not to say I don't enjoy Tyra. Her walk make me think she is about to film a music video. That a high energy come meet your celebrity vibe. I guess its subjective and depends on what the aim is? That is me trying to explain as rationally as I can. But my heart, my eyes and my brain simply prefers Naomi's walk.
Naomi entered the fashion industry 10 years before Tyra, so I dont think it would fair to compare them just because they're blacks. It's my opinion. Besides both have differents walks, one for High Fashion, and one for shows and tv, so It doesnt make sense for me :/
