I like his energy on stage, but all the power of his vox are gone... I guess it was only a matter of time? He had a helluva long run with some of the best vox ever though. Still elite!!!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻❤
@@kastelnaudary I'm thinking about the time when he started singing for bands like Benediction in the late 80s so I'm approximating around 35 yrs. The last time I saw ND his vocals weren't as deep but they were still powerful as duck. In fact I like his vocals more now, they have more of a hardcore punk feel.
@@spearheadsounds1805 I couldn't agree more! The sound is great... amazing job. And you know what? It makes me wanna go back and listen to some of their old albums. So job well done 👍.
The sound is amazing. Camera angles, editing just masterful. These are the gods. Nothing sounds aged. I play all grindcore and bought them in 87. if you didn't know them you can just see they are masters at what they do. Over member changes and all, their sound is just perfection. Songs played from Exit Wound and Music Business are excellent live. 2 albums written so well.

WOW! this is by far the best live sounding show i've ever come across for Napalm Death. not too low, or muffled down. just right! and great picture quality footage from all angles. terrific concert video! keep it up!
Fantastic! For me the band is one of the biggest ever. Even if fallen fans miss the growls, ... Barney is the best singer in the world. The voice is full of anger and aggression. I love that!
OMFG! I think this is the best live vid I’ve ever seen. The sound is better than the studio albums. These guys are the pinnacle of extreme music. So many ‘metal’ bands don’t really scratch the surface of what these guys achieve. I know it’s never going to be everyone’s cup of tea and there’s only so much shouting some can take, but I feel sorry for anyone who can’t get this. To see what amazing joy can be had from pure anger channelled in such a positive way. Napalm Death make the world an infinitely better place. Cleansing cathartic. Awesome.
Si exacto Companyero para que vuelvan a sonar brutal cómo en sus mejores tiempos quando eran mich Harris i el dios del grind core jesse pintado sonarian más compactos i brutales hadrian un bloque mucho más sólido
With Barney, you get 110% sincerity! Nothing fake about that dude! You can tell he loves what he does, best stage moves in the game! 🤘The whole band keeps it as real as it gets!
Thank you for upload. Greetings from Russia.
This video is great indeed and I was in the Berlin show of this same tour but as for ND live videos i have to go with: 1. Live Corruption 2. Punishment in Capitals 3. This one.
One of the best live recording of Napalm I’ve heard. If only some legend would upload this with the lyrics on screen, even in just small text at the bottom. That would add a massive dimension to the art form. Slipknot did it on their Disasterpieces DVD. Most people would be amazed on how intelligent the lyrics are. Barney the lyricist.
VIOLENT MOTION It really does need to be done. Someone should just get a spreadsheet and copy paste the words into the video. Tell me that won’t expediently expand the impact of the art form? Come on ‘Napalm camp’ ...surely. It will take the band to a n undeniable level.
VIOLENT MOTION If I am corresponding with the ‘official uploaders’ Then, omg. Wrap it up nice and tight with the audio/visuals. Watch all the naysayers turn to humble promoters. The hard work has already been done. Damn. Just print it. Extreme music deserves the respect. ✊ Thank you for replying:))
Honestly, given the sound quality, and visual - lyrical content, it could well be the most pertinent N.D ‘release’ since - -Live Corruption. It sounds -AMAZING.
Nobody in Napalm Death has ever had to give a flying shit about fuck all. That's why I luv 'em. If I'd hand my dad these lyrics claiming they're political poems he'd fuckin luv them to death! So that makes at least two people potentially liking this band. No humour intended. No seriously! I swear! Sod off!
Love how Barney's vocal's have become even more angrier and aggressive as he's aged. When they released Harmony Corruption, he had the "standard death metal growl" style - good, but his pays much better service to the band's roots in Grindcore ;)
Heck yea! Even though the new album doesn't showcase his natural scream due to some layering or effect or something, a lot of latter recordings showcase what you mentioned. There are a couple videos here on You TUBE you can find of a performance from 2007 in Spain for the songs The Silence is Deafening and Suffer the Children. Now THOSE two videos really capture how angry and pissed off he is! Look them up! I play those two clips LOUD when I'm at work at my middle school on some studio monitors (Legacy Audio Studio HD"s) that I have in my office (after school hours of course), and my teachers are like W.....T.......F !!! I love it!
Shane's TEST shirt is awesome. Beautiful recording, thanks for putting this up. I got some amateur but nice recordings of underground scene in São paulo Brasil.. check out.. Cheers
@@aegisreflector1239 check this EP ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-J9SYLvSTitU.html It's a DUO and they do lots of experimental stuff.. playing in the streets in front of big gigs, conceptual interactive album (Jogo Humano), a split (Otomanos) where the drummer plays the same thing and 2 bands play different songs in each side (LR), a grindcore big band with friends.. etc... worth checking them out
Shane Embury - Grindcore legend - remember, he played on Genre Defining albums like From Enslavement to Obliteration and the Mentally Murdered EP, the longest serving member of the band. Used to see him regularly in Nottingham Rock City, propping up the bar - always happy to chat - GREAT BLOKE!!!!
@@VEKTOR-qi9tm Really??? Mick Harris..yes... But the guitar legend of Napalm Death was BILL STEER (look at what he did with Carcass - a genius!) Embury may not be a great writer - but he's a good bass player (and a nice guy - have you met him???)
Si es una leyenda shane napalm brujería look Up venemous concept es el mas grande después de Jesse pintado que era insuperable con su súper formación grind death insuperable terrorizer luego napalm i los grind cores extremistas look Up
I am not the biggest Napalm Death fan, but I will say their live show is the most sonically striking sound my ears have ever experienced. They opened for Kreator in Santa Ana California a decade or so ago and I have respected them highly ever since.
Very great show and very nice video/sound quality! But this also makes me sad because It reminds me that I'm stuck here in my house thanks to the corona virus shit! Fuuuuck, no concerts for me this summer! I wanna mosh to some grindcore PORCO DIO!
Weird thing is, this shouting sounds harder on the throat than actual growling. Usually extreme vocalists seek for ways to make their style more bearable for the voice over time but this actually sounds harder to do. Also it sounds absolutely pissed
This easy and effortless rolling ball of pain and insanity gets me on a very primal level. No nonsense punk rock grind core, so much drive, brutal sound (that Gibson SG sounds ratty as hell) never get tired of it, been listening to them since school, long time ago and they still manage to clear my mind and move me. Hats of to them.
Wow, they made my day with the Sonic Youth cover. That was cool! I was into Napalm Death mostly in their Scum to Harmony Corruption era then I kind of stopped following them and I had definitelly listened more to Sonic Youth than to ND in the past years but this was a perfect match!
Most perfect setlist of last two years. It's awesome that they kept alive their noise-core-way of sound, and it's very good that next album will be in this way, like last single. Tracks like Cleanse impure are very rare to hear from them alive, I wish it will change with their next album. Also the quality of picture and sound is on the highest level, thank you!
Barney is still representing!! 🤘😝🦾🥃 I saw them a few years ago in Portland with the Melvins... Great show. These guys are solid and Id go to see them again. .. and again.
Over 30 years of hardcore NAPALM DEATH and they still bring it! I got to see them last on Slayer's Final Tour in Nashville TN. August 2018, They're killer live!!
Yonathrash I actually prefer the more shouting style of his voice now. The deep death metal voice of the 90’s is kind of cheesy now as is a lot of other stuff from that era.
I enjoy that vocal style, but I find that I prefer the songs from Harmony Corruption and Utopia Banished when they play them live now. Sounds more serious and aggressive.
lets hope napalm death sees this vid and uses the sound mixer for a live album the mix is perfect so many songs would be brillent sounding like this constitutional hell/maggots in your coffin/great decapitator all those really fast songs would be great you can actually make out the guitars
The Intro That Starts At 0:22 Is The Intro For Their 1992 Album "Utopia Banished" Called "Disordance". That's Why After That Starts "I Abstain", Because That Song Is Right After That Intro.
09:04 The Wolf I Feed isn't the same without Mitch. He sold me a Napalm Death shirt at the merch booth in 2010, Musikbunker Aachen, Germany. The room was pretty dark and I didn't recognize him. Then he went from merch to stage infront of me first row. It was a 100% the same insane scream as on the album. I'm so saddened I did not have my camera on me that night.
ND deliver. Really love to see this band keeping up, the new album is going to be a killer. Sadly John Cooke is not pulling it at times but he's close.
