I loved how napalm death is bigger than any of its members , not one original member left ,yet they still sound and feel the same way they did when bill ,Mick ,Shane ( and Lee ) I think that was the name of one of napalms early frontman .

@@mrcommonsense9145 It's pretty cool. But Ozzy's accent actually changed as time passed by. I haven't seen his interviews these days, but i still remember his MTV show.. Anyway, I really love it.😉

How much income does a guitarist for a band as popular as Napalm Death usually make? Do they still make millions despite being a quite unknown band in the grand scheme of things?
@Return2TheLiving
@Return2TheLiving 6 лет назад
They probably make about as much as a good doctor/surgeon however they get alot of "freebies", ie: instruments/equipment /airfare /travel /away from home living expenses etc.
@Return2TheLiving
@Return2TheLiving 6 лет назад
Despite this perceived popularity that you speak of, they don't sell millions of records and their lifetime streams on Spotify on their biggest song barely scratch above a million (The Wolf I Feed @1,190,000+ streams). In this day the physical sales are down hard and with stream sales like that, they hardly make a penny. What they take home is what they make off touring and merchandizing. Extreme metal is very nice and there is money to be made but nowhere near the "millions"
@tarchalin
@tarchalin 6 лет назад
Are you nuts? There was a time Barney had to go to "normal" work, because they almost weren't making any money (it was one of the reasons they left Earache). It was at the end of 90's. Now they're better off, but still far away from millions.
@linusfotograf
@linusfotograf 6 лет назад
I would be VERY surprised if they made money even remotely close to that. Where would that kind of money come from?
@jakeherington7237
@jakeherington7237 6 лет назад
Linus Wärn Well bands like Metallica make 8 figures easy I would think a band like Napalm Death who basically own grindcore would at least make well above the average salary.

When I was 14 and had played guitar for less than 6 fucking months, my first band sounded far better than Napalm Death on their best day. Their putrid noise is the worst anti-Music noise I've ever heard. Anyone who thinks that's Music must be drinking napalm.
