If Asanteman didn't want to be part of Ghana we wouldn't have joined it in the first place. Asanteman was an independent sovereign when we joined to form Ghana as a nation. All the Asantehene stated was for politicians(especially NDC) and certain people from other tribes to stop the hate mongering and persecution of Asantes. This was not a humbly request but a demand for civil rights and liberties accorded to all other citizens.
