It's because of the Kumasi Lands issue, which made Nkrumah take over the sharing of Kumasi Lands himself through an Act of Parliament to the subjects of Asantehene in 1962, that Manhyia Palace has decided to malign Nkrumah to its children, such as NAPO. If you are living in Kumasi townships and owe allegiance to Asantehene, go and ask your grandparents and parents how they got land for their residents in Kumasi and be thankful to Nkrumah. The first Kumasi MP in 1951 was CPP. The people accepted Nkrumah's national unity agenda. Some chiefs didn't like that idea, thinking they were losing their autocratic powers. Don't let someone who was appointed by his mother for tribal leadership pinch you against Nkrumah. The people voted for Nkrumah and his CPP.

Napo will not respect Nkrumah because of his origin . The UP is Dankwa/Busia origin which is now ÑPP. Nkrumah is a CPP origin. There's a huge RIVALITYS Between these two parties
