I remember in Prodigy’s book..he spoke of how he gained respect for Pac after he passed. E Money Bags had a notebook Pac left, with the plans for this very movement. E Money gave the book to Prodigy and it changed his whole perspective of how he saw him.
That is greatness if anyone doesn't understand the meaning. I still don't understand why and how anyone will compare Pac to the others. He was way ahead of them other rappers. He is the greatest thing I have seen in hip hop
"And my mission is to be more than just a rap musician... the elevation of today's generation if I can make 'em listen" this was the Epitome of 2pac! 🔥
That’s deep because I definitely heard that before but that just goes to show you how much power 2Pac had and how many people he reached at such a young age and that was the beginning stages of his career too
@@slip-n-rollboxing1826 exactly 💯 and that's why he so LOVED Pac probably knew that but the difference from him and the other artist is that he LOVED US AND TRIED!
Its a shame, black men don't have this mentality anymore. I was born 2 months before Pac, 1971. We were brought up to love and teach our people the best we know how. Hip-hop was our way of communicating to the people, to build us up, not destroy each other. Today I was called militant by a trap rapper but he's a real nigga, lol. Death culture will be our own demise. I still love my people but they need to love themselves. MLK, PAC, X died for what???? By who??? Stay human and respect to the ancestors✊🏾❤
Sad that Pac really needed to understand that u must practice what u preach & n this world that means sacrafice cause the last thing we saw Pac doing didnt represent what Napoleon is claiming.Pac needed time 2 grow but our hatred & disrespect for our lives often makes us fall short of this tedious task.❤ 2 Pac 4 Ever & his legacy.
maybe it was hard for him to practice it after being shot five times and wrongfully convicted and doing time in a maximum pen, plus people like wendy williams spreading false rumors about him being raped in prison and other nonsense. Don't forget that his friends turned their backs on him when he needed them the most. Everything he was involved in has been indirectly/directly done by "his people" which hurt him deeply and pissed him off. Who can blame him
Many of you see Pac's social justice side and expect him to be like MLK. What many of us overlook when admiring MLK was, he got killed in the same manner Malcom X did. When you're making moves, you're going to be hated regardless. The key is to always be prepared and stay ready. Pac was more of a hybrid of the 2; in many aspects.
People should always remember that Pac WAS a Panther. The gang shit was his way of getting his military training to continue the war, he was always about power to the people continuation of the Panther spirit
Pac was a real nigga that spit the real life stories on the mic pac rapped with alot of heart there was a meaning to his music that hit home on the streets real life hip-hop pac was a true legend there won't be another 2pac
I’m 42 back in the day the arguments about who’s better big or pac this that I got to breath the same air and be young bumping that shit loud as fuck we all had systems to live it and now fast forward and to see pac get his due is great he touch many souls and is a big part of alot of our lives childhood a true legend big is great pac is king #thuglife
I think pac could have united black and white he had my ears I'm white and because of him I looked in to the panthers from there I went on to the moors and real Egypt black jesus I'm still learning
My good lad, I'm far from a keyboard warrior... 25 is an ADULT... He wasn't a kid... He was a grown man. 25 is a grown man, sir. We have to offer balance - can't praise him to the point of sycophancy.
Mutulu wrote the code of Thuglife. 50 Niggaz was his way of startin a fully black representation from every state. But no one would run with it. Also Pac was a gemeni. He would literally spend a couple of months on something like this but then something would always happen that would make him mad and disappointed in it and he would quit it and start something else. That's just how he was to be completely honest with you the dude was a workaholic he just had to be involvedin somethin at all times. He moved all over the country. 2pac was legitimately the 90s veraion of a malcolm or MLK he just had a media that portrayed him as a loud violent guy. And he really wasnt. He would get wild for sure. But he was a kid for real having to grow uo too fast. And a lot of people like anyone who makes it in Show Business was leeching off of him and trying to get money for themselves any way they could
@@plewisjr90 i mention it for 2 reasons. First off, if ur a fan u know HE himself took being a gemini very serious. Whether u believe in that stuff or not doest matter. He did. And if u know what a gemeni is thenbu know what i mean. The gemeni is a symbol of twins within 1 soul. Today wed call it bi polar lol. But im not going to call him that w no evidence of a mental illness. Thats not evn the point. But its cool of all that u picked the part u didnt like to call out. Dont even know who u are.
I would have loved nothing more than to have (one day) seen Senator Tupac Shakur being sworn in and seated, for his first congressional term in office. Think of what that would have done to the mindset of those young "thugs" who were willing to do ANYTHING he may have persuaded them to. Could've been the next best thing to actually witnessing: "The Reincarnation of Malcolm X." But, that would've meant his going against a part of the very culture that he very much played a part in creating. It would've been like Malcolm--going back to the communities and trying to undo the damage he wreaked havoc on in his earlier life. What a beautiful dream. But, unfortunately...Pac couldn't keep himself alive long enough to allow that degree of change to wash over him. What a tragic loss of potential.
Napoleon always speaks the truth. If you go back and watch Tupac resurrection they put in audio of 2pac speaking on what Napoleon is talking about in this video
What he saying thats how the drug spots that ran 24 hours on the westside of Chicago ran we took breaks before and after school started I can remember this from 92-99 .
They just don't make them like the 🐐 no more! Another example why he consider on level of MLK, Malcolm X, and Bob Marley of the worlds! No other rapper has this Genius impact since Hip Hop creation!🐐 Sh** Period! 💯
Also no rapper ever from what i have seen tried or us trying so hard to stop the violence in these neighborhoods..someone today needs to step up and break this cycle cause to many lifes lost and ruined and taught to the next generation over some bullsht
