March 13 -- This week on Studio 1.0: Napster Co-Founder, Facebook's Founding President and Spotify Board Member Sean Parker sits down with Bloomberg's Emily Chang for an EXCLUSIVE interview from his mansion in Los Angeles.
I guess you can compare what he said about the music industry not teaming up with him with Napster instead of going after him to The Cab companies and Uber/Lyft . The cab companies pushed the newer technology aside and ignoring the wants and demands of modern people and the use of the most popular technology ( our phones ) now they’re playing catch up the cab companies which is laughable , cause it’s reminiscent to the scene in the social network when Sean asked Eduardo “ you wanna buy a tower records “ when today you’d say when was the last time you used a yellow cab ? And how long did it take to come if it came at all ?
I prefer to pay subscription if I can get safe, official, tailored music, that supports the artist and it just feels better for all those reasons-not to steal.
Wasn't this the same chick that interviewed Steve Wozniak about the Jobs movie? She interrupted him so much while he was talking!! This chick seems to be doing the same!!
Thanks to The Social Network, this man attracted more hatred. As Daniel Ek once said, Sean Parker is a genius, a great partner in business but he is irrational.
How is facebook different from myspace and emails didn't they bite off that? But this guy did change the music industry for indie artist. But they can't sell that much or tour like big named artists.
Proverbs 17:27 A man of knowledge uses words with restraint, and a man of understanding is even-tempered. Proverbs 17:28 Even a fool is thought wise if he keeps silent, and discerning if he holds his tongue.
I hate people like Sean, he makes money off of ripping off artists, till this day Spotify does not pay well enough to artists! Sean and his friends basically came up with the idea to make money based on ruining others " let's cause the problems and then let's sell the solution" it's his mantra :| Now same is happening to Open AI, they are messing with a great industry to get rich but they will end up like Napster! 😒
Oh, yeah, sure. The small band who makes 5 cents from a thousand streams, their manager is just caring about every last penny, not just being able to cover the cost of making music a bit from people enjoying their work.
I'm a weirdo, whenever the likes or dislikes on a video are at 13 or 113 I gotta click lol or something terrible gonna happen! Same way I can't have Tv volume on 13.. Is some kinda OCD and to think what bloody date I was born on aswell......
Willi dilly you know the film is fake right? Eduardo’s shares were never diluted as low as 0.03%, it was more like 5% which was around the same amount Parker, Thiel, and Moskovitz got. Eduardo had wayy too much power at the company with 33% and was doing a horrible job as CFO.
