A memorable trip from Naran Valley to Gilgit City
This Urdu travel documentary features our journey from Naran Valley to Gilgit City in Northern Areas of Pakistan, Gilgit Baltistan.

We start our journey from naran and go through some scenic landscapes. On the way we do rafting in Kunhar river and then witness the natural beauty of Jalkhad/ Jalkhand. We stay overnight in Jalkhad and then start our journey again the next day and visit places such as Lulusar Lake and Babusar Top. From Babusar Top, we go towards Chilas and drive on Karakoram Highway. Mighty Indus river, Sindh river, flows along the Karakoram Highway. We shortly stop in Jaglot and then finally we reach Gilgit City where we stay overnight.

1. Naran City
Naran is a medium-sized town in upper Kaghan Valley in Mansehra District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is located 119 kilometers from Mansehra city at the altitude of 2,409 meters.It is located about 65 kilometers away from Babusar Top.
2. Rafting in Kunhar River
Rafting in Kunhar river, Kaghan Valley has given a new boom to the Rafting sport in Pakistan, Kunhar river is considered to be an ideal place for rafting adventure.
3. Jalkhad
Jalkhand is a town situated in the Mansehra district of Hazara, Pakistan. The town sits 3,140 metres above sea level. Jalkand is about 40 kilometres away from Naran. It is a beautiful place for tourists. Pyala Lake is also situated in Jalkhand.
4. Lulusar Lake
Lulusar, or Lalusar, is a group of mountain peaks and a lake in the Kaghan Valley in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakictan.
5. Babusar Top
Babusar Pass or Babusar Top is a mountain pass in Pakistan at the north of the 150 km long Kaghan Valley, connecting it via the Thak Nala with Chilas on the Karakoram Highway. It is the highest point in the Babusar Valley that can be easily accessed by cars.
6. Chilas
Chilas is a city and is the divisional capital of Diamer District located in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, on the Indus River.
7. Karakoram Highway
The Karakoram Highway is a 1,300 km national highway which extends from Hasan Abdal in the Punjab province of Pakistan to the Khunjerab Pass in Gilgit-Baltistan, where it crosses into China and becomes China National Highway 314.
8. Indus River
The Indus River is one of the main rivers of the Indo-Gangetic Plain in the Indian subcontinent. It flows through China, India, and Pakistan.
9. Jaglot
Juglot or Jaglot is a city in Gilgit District, Pakistan, and is situated 45 km south east of Gilgit on the Karakoram Highway.
10. Gilgit City
Gilgit is the capital city of Gilgit-Baltistan, a territory comprising the northern region of Pakistani-administered Kashmir. The city is located in a broad valley near the confluence of the Gilgit River and Hunza River.
