Arun inherits the mantle of singing from his family where music has been a way of life. Arun started his music life under the guidance of his father, O.V.Subramaniam and later qualified Alankara Purana from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. O.S. Arun was conferred with numerous titles like Brahma Gana Samrat, Bhava Sangeetha Vasigara and Madhura Gana Sironmani. O.S. Arun’s music has combined grace of sound grammar and warmth feeling. He also has a wide repertoire of songs, which has earned him a keen following Rasikas.
