Thanks for sharing with us what you’re going through with the adhd. I’ve always had severe adhd problems for a very long time and I was just officially diagnosed and am going through the process of testing out medications now. It is definitely not fun dealing with anxiety, depression, adhd and figuring out a proper set medications to make it so I can function but also not suffer from the side effects that make other parts of my life way worse is extremely difficult and demoralizing sometimes

I love these videos and to be honest it’s helping me with my fear of lizards 🦎 I can now watch them (that’s a big step) still have problems touching them and that’s a big thing living in Australia. I have several leaf tail geckos that like too live in my kitchen and I have to relocate them at least once a week and have several breading blue tongue lizards living in my back yard .. they still freak me out lol

So cool to see everyone fawn over the crestie chewie hybrid. I purchased one earlier this year and I got lucky...you can't hardly find them anywhere. Cresties and chewies naturally hybridize in New Caledonia which I think is fascinating. My little guy did lose his tail sadly...screen lid plus a curious fat cat equaled disaster. I'm honestly really lucky he's even alive. He's stunning all around and I miss his beautiful tail but I'm thankful he lived through the experience and grew his tail back. It may not be as pretty but he's beautiful no matter what 💚

@@CatAleah He's doing great - even grew his tail back 😊 it was traumatic for everyone involved, well except the cat, but I learned some invaluable lessons. Thankfully not at the expense of my little Rex. I've heard of some other horror stories involving cats and reptiles...glad your cat wasn't too interested in your geckos 🙂

I’m planning to get a sugar glider and I was wondering if 2 different kind of sugar gliders would get along like maybe a LEUCISTIC and a BLACK BEAUTY also if you weren’t with them for like 6 hours in the day for school would it affect them much or would they be asleep 💜

So many beautiful animals but those Varanus Prasinus ahhh my dream reptile I've been trying to get for ages, always something comes up or the price sky rockets. I have faith, one day! You take meds too? Me too a bunch off them like oxy dor my pain and Xanax for my fear attacks. I need anti-depressants too but for the moment it were every time the wrong ones. I'm bipolar and have ADD. Needless to say without my snake I probably killed myself allready. Life is not easy. But nice to see you se happy and excited. Really love your channel. Only thing I know is black house snakes are like the "poor man's Mexican Nlack Kingsnake." But house snakes have become so popular because of their morph varieties that they're probably not as cheap as they were even 2 yrs ago. I can't think of anything creative for the palmetto corn. All I can think of are basic names that go with the pattern. Confetti, Pebbles, Skittles, Sprinkles. I LOVE how you push the message of USARK! I volunteer at my local show. It might now get the amount of traction as the NARBC shows. But I try to get everyone who passes to talk to me at the table, because I feel like the average joe that just has 1 or 2 pet reptiles isn't aware like the inner reptile community is. They never heard of USARK, they don't know about the waves of bills being proposed. They're just at the local show to stock up on supplies and maybe get another pet. So I try to be as loud as I can at my local show each month.

I think we need smaller snakes to be more popular as pets. Pythons are gorgeous but most people that get them arent ready for their eventual immense size or just dont think about it. This leads to the problem of them getting released into the wild or even killed. Florida is my home state and the python problem in the everglades is insane.

great video. Cat can i ask with your recent adhd diagnosis what where your symptoms? I am wondering if I have it myself, my consentration is terrible, no motivation, doing even the most simple of things like tidying up for instance seems like climbing a mountain, im all over the place, i was diagnosed with depression and tried 3 dif types of medication and nothing helped, but I am thinking of going back to the doctor, I just wondered if any of that was the same for you? sorry if asking is too personal. Hope your doing well, and keep up the great videos, im watching from the uk.

If you're thinking you might have it you should go to a doctor or therapist it can play out a little diffrent for everyone and you can't base your own mental disorder off of someone else's that can be really harmful for you

I saw a bat skeleton at the one stand, so I just have to give a PSA: bat skeletons and taxidermy mounts are almost never, if ever, sustainably sourced. A lot of species, such as the painted bat, are often hunted for taxidermy. Because bats reproduce very slowly, only giving birth to one pup at a time and having incredibly long gestation periods in proportion to their body size, bat populations take a long time to recover. Please don’t buy any bat skeletons or mounts. Instead, maybe try finding someone who does mock-taxidermy sorta like Bass Pro does.

Well, they are from different genera so it's likely it will not be fertile. However, in prinicple I agree with you. We shouldn't create hybrids for breeding purposes

There are lots of differing opinions on hybrids! I think it’s a beautiful animal but breeding it back into the gene pool I wouldn’t personally do. As long as she contains it to her collection or sells to breeders who wouldn’t mix them up anymore into the gene pool it should be fine, hybrids themselves aren’t inherently wrong and that species mix likely occurs in the wild!

@@tyliful Again I believe it is up to the individual reptile keeper to have their own opinions on it but the animal itself exists and therefore is open to criticism and being viewed by the public as she took it to an expo. I’m going to film and document reptiles regardless of if they are controversial because it allows for conversations like this one!
