In this interview, KTO goes to a recording studio in LA to link up with Jacksonville based rapper, Nardo Wick. You’ve probably heard of Nardo Wick through his super viral song on Tik Tok that goes “What the fuck is that?”, aka “ Who Want Smoke “. Nardo is also known for other songs such as “I Be Chillin”, “Shhh”, “Aye Aye”, and “Pull Up”. Where Nardo is from, there are also other rappers such as Julio Foolio, Spottemgottem, Yungeenace + more. In this interview, Nardo talks about how he blew up starting with a girl who played his snippet on Instagram, while wearing a Ski Mask. For some reason, that video went viral and Nardo gained 10k followers. He kept putting out more snippets which were blowing up, and eventually he got signed to RCA records. Nardo says he doesn't understand why people have called him an industry plant when really he’s been putting in the work. Nardo says the music he listens to includes Billie Eilish, Polo g, Ruth B, and Adele. He also mentioned he would only get starstruck if he saw Eminem. He already met Drake and he didn’t get starstruck by that. He also talks about how G Herbo was on IG live listening to his music, which eventually lead to a remix. Another remix is coming soon with Lil Durk, that includes a Cole Bennett directed video on Lyrical Lemonade. Kids Take Over is based in Vancouver Canada.
