Courtney was one of the few people in the early '90s to actually "get" Nardwuar. She could play along with him, and that's why their interviews were so much fun to watch. In most of his earlier interviews, the people are either extremely confused or are total dicks to him. All these years later, everyone knows who he is and has seen his interviews, so people tend to engage with him on his terms, but Courtney was one of the first people to really do that.

5 months after, and I don't think it's weird he's not brought up... I think it's weird that it just seems like any normal Friday night. Just hanging out with the gals. Sorry, but if my wife suddenly killed herself (I'm a guy and married), I don't think i'd be upbeat and down to do an interview, or at a show. A month goes by REALLY quick... I can't imagine only 5 months after he kills himself she's totally normal like nothing weird happened. For most people, that shit is YEARS before you can kinda act normal... if ever. He shot himself. If my friend started shouting at people when we were having a party, I wouldn't say, "who am I to judge, maybe he had a stressful day"... no, maybe he's a dick. I think how courtney is behaving 5 months after kurt shot himself in the head is really weird and speaks a lot about her personality and narcisism. Yes, I'm making an opinion/judgement. It's not the first time she's shown that she's sort of a turd. So my judgement might not be off base.
Courtney does not hide anything so Nardwar is the one who gets intriguingly mesmerized instead because she tells him things he cannot know. Courtney is more off putting than he is because she appears dense but is just the exact opposite and is not shocked by his interview questions and sharp trivia. She said the language to speak with Nardwar is just being yourself.
I think Courtney gets an undeserved bad rap most of the time, particularly from internet kooks and dumb teenage Nirvana fanbois that spam every video she features in with idiotic conspiracy theories about Kurt’s death. I don’t like most of her music and I’m not sure she’s such a great person generally but she’s not the fucking pinnacle of evil so many people paint her to be. Also she was always cool with Nardwuar so that’s a big point in her favour in my opinion.
Did you not see the documentary starring the private investigator that she hired days before his death? I know it may sound like a conspiracy but it presents facts about the investigation done by the Seattle police department that you cannot deny are questionable.

This was exactly 1 year before I was born! (November 15th, 1995) 😊 I miss the 90’s. Such an awesome time to be young and much more simpler days. People still were involved in “going out” and had family events happen as well as the environment seemed much better for people in every way. Wish I could go back to those days… Courtney Love actually seems very genuine. This was only a few months after Kurt’s death. So it’s nice to see she was recovering better than how most people would. Even though Courtney had a trashy side it didn’t mean she was all bad.
I experienced enough memories in not just the 5 years but also the subsequent years in the early 2000's (which still had much of the 90's feel to it several years after it believe it or not). To experience half a decade and years after, even if I was at my youngest, I know enough about what it was like alfor me and my own good experiencesof it, Thank you very much...

Courtney was not perfect, but she is quite cool and smart at least personality wise. Kurt fell in love with her for a reason people... I hate this bs that courtney killed Kurt..she didn't , they both had problems with drugs, yet it affected Kurts depression :/

Courtney has always been a strong woman, she isn't going to roll over and die because Kurt decided to take his own life. It's astonishing how you all act like you've never seen a person grieve before. 7 months later only a movie character would still be dragging themselves around crying and defeated, especially in public. She has a life that shouldn't end because someone else's life ended. Plus, she was likely rolling on drugs during this interview.

Courtney threatened a fan for just holding up a photo of Kurt at her concert, "Don't show a picture of Kurt, asshole. And I'm gonna have you fuckin removed. I'm not Kurt.
