The Problem with Norm is he mumbles... It's part of what makes Norm a successful comic, as he mumbles and meanders In a funny way. I just don't think it would work with Nardwaur's frantic style... Maybe if Norm dressed in drag? Nardwaur tends to be more gentle with the ladies! IMHO
There are things that Nardwaur knows about you that YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW!!! Get ready, if you have any plans to be famous... The kids today turn on their computer and say: "Good Morning Mr. FBI Agent!" Celebrities greet Nardwaur when they look into the camera on their phone or computer... IMHO

I love when who ever nardwuar interviews tries to be quirky or awkward and try to out weird him. Yet it always fails to pass nardwuars impenetrable nerdy wall! Lol
I'm totally with you on that. I love Mr. Show, and I like some of his other work too but very inconsistently. He's done some stuff I really didn't like, and interviews with him are always kind of too-intense and he often seems really arrogant and full of himself. His 'standup tour' video 'Let America Laugh' was so focused on the audience members he hated on that tour that I've seen it twice and can't remember him telling any jokes in the fifteen or so minutes of onstage footage it contains. It's mostly footage of the audience members who annoyed him, and some of them didn't deserve being lumped in with the real jackoffs. I like confrontational comedians but they do have to be funny and not seem like they actually feel the anger they're emoting because then it's like cultist shit.

Thats true. If he interviewed Bush he would be like I understand you were looking for something a while back. Nard:"Osama Bin" Bush:"Laden??" Nard pulls him out. "No way. Where did you find him?!" Nard doesnt answer and continues the interview.
Somebody help me on this. Cross once said that on AD he got into an argument with someone from the studio who claimed there were these 3 bizarre "rules of comedy" that everyone needed to abide by. These were 1. No baseball caps 2. No facial hair 3. No puffy sleeves (what?). In this video, Cross is flaunting all three of those. Is that coincidental or is he making a point here?
@MattMonk the majority of the comedy community does NOT think David Cross sucks. Mr. Show, Arrested Development, and The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret are all well-regarded, hilarious shows. Just because you don't agree with his political leanings, and he made fun of your favorite comedian, Larry the Cable Guy, doesn't mean he sucks.
I met him at the bar Max Fish on Ludlow Street on the Lower East Side of Manhattan and he had a really big beard and a huge hat that hid his face pretty well, he seemed annoyed that I had recognized him even though it was a friday night and the place was really packed. I thought, why is he here then if he wants to be left alone but he was funny, he said "I heard you want to buy me a shot". I didn't.
