Dude this is the first of your videos I've watched and I'm excited to watch the lot. This is so perfect. Being from Oxford and hearing him talk about the Pit Rivers was just really lovely. You really find out about who he is as a guy and who he is as an artist, captivating stuff.
I seen Foals at the Black Sheep in Colorado Springs and Yanni went into the the crowd and I guess I got in his way and he jabbed me with his guitar to get out the way.
I like that he’s given copies of REMISSION to multiple guests. It’s probably my favorite Skinny Puppy release. I remember hearing that & TOO DARK PARK when a high school friend brought them over for a bong session! Hehe… Needless to say, my little 15yo mind was blown. Being the days before the internet and YT, you had to hear new music through friends if your parents didn’t ever give you money. I never got any money!
Nardwuar... you need to interview Mrsuicidesheep, Ramses b, Mt Eden, and Black Mill. These 4 people are amazing, two of them are legendary Chillstep makers from way back pls do this. Anyoneelse who agrees with me you know yall cant wait for dis to happen
xwhite2020 Yep, but is lunacy is very rarely due to alcohol. In fact I had a very nice conversation with him when I offered him a shot and he declined because he explained that he had been drinking Jameson and that there was a very delicate balance with substances running through the bloodstream. He didn't even appear to have been drinking, but I know he had been doing other things. Seems to have his use of substances under control for the most part. I know that he and his bandmates will admit he has some very wild and unruly nights.
Nah they're on the road ALOT it's what keeps them going really, heard him say in another interview that they cut down a lot when they're not on tour to give their livers a rest.
Foals, what a utterly *gay* name for a band. The only way they can do it justice is to get onstage either dressed as foals, or in pink spandex and ballerina outfits. 0:59 Yes, it was weird.
