he earned it.. he took a lot of shit from a lot of bands and rappers before getting to where he is today. he's so loved now any artist that treats him poorly will surely feel the backlash.
The amount of shit he got back in the day and with how warming his personality is and the amount of research he does. He’s earned that position of royalty
I haven't even listened to a single Lil Uzi song but I wish the man a long successful career. Just a upstanding respectful dude. Same for you Nardwuar! Missed you man
i'm sorry. i'm oblivious to nardwar :( .. and minimally know about lil uzi. but i thought this interaction was so amazing. can someone please explain to me what that last bit was? what did he mean by "we gotta keep this tradition" and leave nardwar lol. thanks guys.
this is why i love uzi. they’re super respectful in almost all the clips i’ve seen them in and it makes me especially happy that they are always kind and inviting to nardwuar
This is one of the most wholesome interviews that Nardwuar has conducted. The early part allows us to see him out of character while the latter allows us to see him in character. Almost like kayfabe. What is more important is this: that man has interviewed some of the biggest names in music. From the Iconic Kurt Cobain in 1994, 20 years of Snoop interviews, J. Cole, Kendrick, and everyone big or small inbetween. Nardwuar is a true beacon and icon of hip hop history.
One small correction he’s a true beacon of music* history! I think he’s interviewed and showed love to every kind of musician you can imagine. Truly the goat
This is the best promo uzi could have done for his album. Nard will never understand the impact he's had in the world and how much we genuinely love him
Yeah fr they had a viral moment there’s no way he could’ve turned down the opportunity to capitalize off that. Carti thinks he’s too cool, but uzi knows what he’s doing
Scott Pilgrim LP was a dope gift.. Feels like I've been waiting forever for Uzi to acknowledge his love for the movie. The Perfect Love Tape and Lil Uzi vs The World covers are so iconic. Timeless music too.
“Where have you been!?” That was a legit hug right there. There’s real honest love between friends. I’m not a huge fan of his music but i will always respect how humble and respectful Uzi is.
one day when we're all old and one of these 2 have passed we will remember and look back on these priceless interactions. you can tell it's nothing but good memories between the two of them in such a weird association of characters lol
" I always got time for you " - Uzi, Same energy Tyler brings for Nard and I absolutely LOVE it, I also am more than glad you are doing well and feeling better Nard we would go insane without your presence!
When I saw all the armed security, I thought he might have been doing an interview in a warzone. The level of respect that artists show for Narwuar just highlights what a great person he is.
I soooo love the behind the scenes footage to show how hard u work bro can't deny effort or will in any aspect been watching u for 15 yrs thank the Lord for this blessing and a curse we call RU-vid
People have said it before, but there is just something so special about Nardwuar, he is so genuine and so sweet and caring and genuinely loves the people he interviews and puts a lot of effort into those interviews. Long live nardwuar
Nardwuar interviews with genuine interest, care and love… not to push an agenda or to push his own career. He does it for the music. That’s the difference.
I love this guy. I've been watching Nardwuar interview artists since at least 1991. I've seen a lot of artists treat him terribly, which is why this is genuinely heartwarming. I have a lot of respect for lil uzi being such a class act himself.
I missed these two together u can tell how much Uzi is happy that he was there and to see him and how he was like getting happy that he would come to his house and all and Uzi felt like he needed that hug
It isn't the first time I've seen Lil Uzi Vert do a Nardwuar interview, but it really shows people's true colors with how they react to Nardwuar. I've fallen in love with artists like Tyler the Creator, Lil Wayne, and Lil Uzi Vert because of how respectful and well spoken they are.
@TwerkAmbition bruh "Uzi is not known for drugs" what planet are you on. I don't know how you could come to the conclusion he is sober, especially since he refrances how he abuses Xanax in his biggest song and talks about drug use in many other songs.
This video about to be huge. Man, it’s so incredible to see the love and respect everybody has for Nardwuar, especially Lil Uzi. We missed you Nardwuar!
This man has a heart of gold a song in his heart and Gravy and cheese curds in his blood......May he have better health the rest of his life......i am a 30 yr old man who considers himself pretty weather beaten and the news of his stroke and illness made me actually cry......And it wasnt due to his art or his legacy.......it was truly based singularly on his attitude and continued Joy he radiates with every crazily fashioned inch of his body.....God bless Nardwuar❤
I really love the friendship development between naruwar and uzi, first encounter uzi ran away, second he got through the interview and now uzi shows emotions towards narduwar. So beautiful
How amazing is seeing all these people recognizing and warmly receiving Nardwuar. Taking pictures, being happy to see him... even the artist at the beginning who interrupted Nardy JUST to take a picture with him. Even Cole Benett recognizing him
I could see these two being the friends that don't talk much but when they do its a fun time. the reunion of these two is amazing, the hug was so genuine.💖
