One of the best MØ interviews. So well researched and so much interesting information on her background in the Danish punk scene that is new information even for a Danish fan. She appears to be really impressed by his knowledge and the Kim Gordon record was the perfect gift.
I'm actually very interested in checking out her music. She seems like a really cool person and I've been thinking about getting into Scandinavian culture.
It's so weird.. I went to all these places (and listened to the same punk music) as her when I was younger.. I probably met her a few times without knowing ^^
when she says squad- she means it as a place - where there are squatters - mostly left wing type stuff, the youth house in Denmark was a large famouse one, where there were riots and and barricades when they tore it down

I'm so familiar with Nardwuar for his hip-hop interviews and only now am I going down a rabbit hole of him interviewing all my favorite indie acts. Supposing there's an Aurora interview buried somewhere?
At least some good came from "ungeren". After it was demolished the 'kids' went completely bonkers and thrashed and scorched a pretty large area of inner Copenhagen. But you can definitely tell that the anarchistic experience she had as a tween helped form her into this awesome person.

I have never heard any of this chicks music & quite frankly, had never heard of her period, until I hit the play button on this video. Yet if what she lays down on wax is as great as she looks & as sweet as her voice, then hook me the fuck up.
