I had to look up the few people he mentioned toward the end of the video Damien Hirst, Robert Longo and Richard Prince.. An interesting trio to mention.. He's definitely well educated.
Haha yeah Nardwuar's an awkward, intense dude. But he does the research and his interviewees seems to love it (Snoop's let Nardwuar interview him like 4 times)! I know I love him, and Vince is dope too.
Well Nardwuar already knows more about the topics than the actual artist a lot of the time. These interviews are more for us as the fans if you think about it.
This is by far the best interview I have seen with Nardwuar. Vince Staples seems like a real down to earth person, not a fake rap persona. We need more entertainers like Vince!
Alex Kohler he lit up and hit it off with Nard for sure, but bad chemistry or an awkward interview from another rapper doesn’t make him superficial. Vince Staples happens to have a talent for entertaining the camera with good conversation
It depends on the room their in, If its an empty room with nothing on walls or any furniture, the mic will still pick up the echo from the voices since theirs nothing absorbing the sound as it travels, its just reflected and pointed back.
Nard!!! Amazing interview I'm a huge Vince fan thank you so much for doing this! Vince if you see this I really want you to know that I've purchased two albums in my life, first was Channel Orange and the second was Summertime 06. Mad props, I saw you in Toronto with A$ap and Tyler. Keep killing it.
I saw him some time last year in Vancouver and got the meet and greet package, but I just went home after he was done cause I think I had work in the morning or some shit. Couldn't regret it more now. Seriously just the coolest dude in the game, seems like he'd be awesome to chill with
"Hip hop nigga shit", "militants"," I aint never been to Africa I love white people Im from California"...."Old gang bangers was corny." definitely a difference between the older and the new.
it's a joke fam. tho i don't believe he has an issue with white people as individuals, but as a class i'm sure he'd agree that certain actions of their have been less than good for black people. chill Zulu Warrior.
Zulu Warrior Yeah and Vince seems to have his head on straight. What's the point in being a "militant" anyways? People that act a fool usually end up dying young over some dumb shit.
Zulu Warrior Starting riots and shit is acting a fool, that's how people get killed these days and its usually the "militant" ones that participate in these riots. Because that's what it means to be militant. Being an uncivil human being will either get you put in jail or shot and for what? I'd say for nothing.
Vince Staples is the most real rapper. He keeps his music and his life separate. He stays away from drugs and promotes positivity. He also never boasts about what he has. He's a pretty big name so he has money but he doesn't wear expensive clothes and show off his wealth.
