1:16, when the wind from Narnia blows out the candle as Lucy opens the Wardrobe again....wow. Absolutely wonderful cinematic moment. It really captures the adventure of the whole thing.
All you have to do is close your eyes. Your Narnia is there, in your imagination. In your dreams. It's not a faraway place that we must travel to. It's our hearts, that magical place you have imagined since you were little... and if we open ourselves to others, they become apart of the adventure that we call "Life." That, my friend, is Narnia.
I m definitely agree with you . Since The Chronicles of Narnia was one of the best memories in my childhood . Although I m 21 Whenever I want I watch and read any episode from Narnia . Age isn t everything . Only Your choices should effect you .
When I grow up, I'll have a huge house with a huge forest behind it and the only way through it was a wardrobe. So every night, I'll feel like Im going to Narnia.
For years I have listened to this soundtrack and the James Cameron Avatar soundtrack and I always come to tears with so many beautiful compositions that make me travel in the world of imagination and bringing a lot of nostalgia in my heart. ♥ My two favorite movies ♥
I love the song, I love it so much! When I close my eyes it feels like I'm flying to Narnia. And that I never have to worry about anything in the world. Ah, that wonderfull music!
One of the most beautiful and favourite film franchises I have ever seen in my life. There are no other films quite like the Narnia trilogy. I have a lifetime of beautiful memories because of them. The soundtrack has some of the most beautiful music ever channelled by man. CS Lewis is extremely proud of all three kf them. They brought his world to life in all its magical glory
This movie is by far my favorite of the ones they've made so far. I hope that they end up doing the book The Last Battle into a movie! That would be freaking epic. We get Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy, and *Everyone* Else!! It would be insane for them /not/ to make that one into a movie... *sits in a rocking chair to patiently wait* XD
Do you like Peter? Yah we like Peter! Do you like Lucy? Yah we like Lucy! Do you like Susan? Yah we like Susan! Do you like Edmund? Yah we like Edmund! Do do do can't wait to go to Narnia! Let's go!!
I’ve ben to Narnia, to me Narnia always been my grand parents’s house. It’s giant and in the middle of the Forest. With my cousins we use to play together in woods. But the most magic there were all the animals, we were so close to them. I remember that once I’ve made a race with my bike against a Dear who was running right next to me!! It was unforgetable! But the time is runing, the trees have been cut, there is less and less animals, my grand parents wants to sold the house so... I guess I’ve leave Narnia for ever...
+Jitin J Gigi CS Lewis was a devoted christian. The Chronicles of Narnia was a metaphorical story about his theological thought. Aslan is a reference to "The Victor Lion of Judah" who died and conquered death (Aslan on the stone table, Christ in the cross). Curious fact: Lewis was converted to christianity by JRR Tolkien, author of The Lord of The Rings.
+Jitin J Gigi I think the Christian aspect adds so much depth and it is what makes them so incredible. It opens up a whole new book when you begin to see the connections.
its true ... there are connections and ... beauty in it. But doesn't this whole Christian ideal make readers of other religions turn back on the book ? Isn't it better without the religious view in it ....?
I haven't listened to the entire Prince Caspian soundtrack, but what I have already heard is amazing! I particularly like "The Door in the Air" and "Battle at Aslans How"! =D
This soundtrack is absolutely beautiful. makes you feel like you're going off to battle and dancing with the dryads and running with aslan all at once..
i absolutely love the movie, i never get sick of it. i loved prince caspian but it didn't hold the feeling i had for this one but i still loved it. i read the book of this one as a child and i loved but i never got the chance to read the others but i will.
I LOVE THIS SOUNDTRACK!! this is my favrit song on it! ITS AMAZING! but i also like "The Wardrobe", "Only the Beginning of the Adventure", && "Evacuating London" thnxx fer putting this songg onn!
When I first saw this movie in 2007 I thought to myself if I ever meet the Lucy actress I will thank her for choosing to hide in the wardrobe. Because of her we got to see such a magnificent film and franchise Narnia that continues to be read, watched or listened to 15 years on.
One of the things that worries me for the upcoming Silver Chair film is that they may not use the same music, they just can't, they're just so beautiful and makes you connect to the story, they just can't change the theme music. I'm really hoping that Harry Gregson Williams will come back because the music just isn't the same without him, but i have a feeling he wont.
The lyrics are: One breath for all beneath the wall (Feel this, Feel This) so tender ...or something like that. It means that whoever or wherever we are, we are still the same and feel the same pains and joys.
This is jut absolutely true. Our own fantasy and imagination creates trough ages a stroy adn a country ith creatures and everything it and Narnia is just one of them. There are many like well know ones like Wonderland or Terabithia. But the best is always your own land. Just close your eyes and think of the things you want to be included in that land and then you hopefully see your own imagined country in your head. Thats a special moment for me just that moment when you see you own imagination.
It really is inspiring isn't it? I used this on a short film (that I never uploaded) about me giving a tour of the town that we live near. It really gave the movie the extra mile! =D
I read "Prince Caspian: The Office Illustrated Movie Companion" along with the Narnia soundtrack for about three hours on the way to the mountains two weeks ago. It was brilliant; unbelievably powerful! ColorClown26; Thanks for thanking me! ^_^ I check every single comment posted and I try to respond to them if they need responding. Saalvatorio
